It really amazes me when someone could look in the mirror and smile... or take a picture.. if I look in the mirror I start to cry... I won’t take pictures because I don’t like the way I look.... and if I did I would cover my face... it also amazes me when someone can sleep while some people ( including me) are up crying...

as a person that had a very hard childhood and grown with a lot of self steem issues this song hits hard
As much as I'd probably benefit from removing some mirrors I'd probably dislike my body more. When I look down at my stomach it always looks big but in the mirror I can see it's not as bad as I think. Anyone else feel like that?
It's worse when the mirror reflects the lies you spill to appear "happy" or "normal" Yeah I'm skinny. Yeah I'm smiling. Yeah I'm laughing. Yeah im ok. Yeah I'm lying.

I still relate to this song. But, I’m getting better each and every day. I’m starting to accept and love my body. Now I’m moving on to my head. Hopefully getting a therapist soon to help me with my journey and see what’s wrong with me and help me get better. I don’t really want to feel like an alien anymore
