High school can be difficult but I find that if I reflect back on my day and go over it bit by bit sometimes I can realize what somebody said that I couldn't make out at the time, or I can think of ways that my own actions prevented me from making my day better, so that tomorrow can be a better day. Just be willing to acknowledge your downfalls and make better of them. Even your best friends can be annoyed or mad. I find that doing this before I go to bed, just laying in bed reflecting on my day. It works for me, I encourage you to try it. I hope that it can make high school easier for you.

That personally got me, I'm broken and I love to where headphones to block out the noise of everybody around me because they're fake and my bullies and I wonder "What have I done to them?" "Why can't they leave me alone?" They're the reason of my depression after the death of one of my brothers. Before that I never got bullied even tho we were never in the same school since he was older than me. I miss him and a great friend of mine, my friend was real and not made of plastic, I couldn't hang with my brothers since they had friends over and my younger sister was at her friends house so, he would hangout with me, besides my brother he was my Angel and someone I never wanted to leave me, but he moved. I used to get bullied and picked on, now I don't, but I know it'll happen again I can't have high hopes in school or church. I don't really trust anyone in those two places anymore. Thanks for reading random people in the comments, sorry for making you feel pity and reading all of this of my weak and pathetic life. I swear I'll get better on this, I promise.

Whenever I sing to this, I change the mum and dad roles. In the song, the dad is the tough one, but my dad is a kind and gentle soul. My mum disowned me and we haven’t talked since. My mum used fear to control me. But when I started fearing her less, she probably perceived me as a threat and that’s probably why she sent me to live with my dad. Me and my dad didn’t spend much time together at first. He worked night as security to provide. I slept in the car. He always made sure I was comfy. By day, my dad slept for 6 hours. He would make me breakfast, sleep and wake up. But I still preferred this than living with my mum. My dad quit his job to take care of me full time. Eventually, I went to high school. Life became normal. My dad got universal credit and we could be a normal 2-person family. At my previous high school, I was bullied daily. I made some friends. One said he’d protect me if I ever needed it. I play computer games with another. We slowly began to grow apart and at one point I had felt all alone. The bullying didn’t stop, I’d come home every day to being asked to clean my room. I wanted to kill myself. But there was one person who I would kill everyone in the world for. My little sister is always happy and she loved spending time with me. My other siblings didn’t want to play games with her. My little brother preferred to play games alone and would sometimes yell at my little sister. My older sister stays up in her room when she’s at home. My relationship with my stepdad (little sister’s dad) wasn’t too bad, but we didn’t have much in common. He would act like an asshole sometimes, but he was a kind person at heart. My little sister gave me a reason to live. I know nobody’s perfect, but she’s the closest person to perfect as you can get. I don’t see her much anymore. I’d give up my new life just to spend more time with her, but that’s out of my control. My mum says I’m the reason she left me with my dad, but a few months later, my stepdad moved into a different house. I don’t know if they’re getting divorced, but my stepdad is a lot nicer now, so that says a lot about my mum. Thank you for reading.

@@singingofsilver I had a "friend", when thinking back, I think she was trying to guilt trip me to regain control of me. When that didn't work she figuratively stabbed me in the back, all over the course of a weekend. So in my case it wasn't because I did something, it was because I didn't, and she tried to convince me that I had to control me. If that even makes sense. As time has passed, I am not angry with her anymore. I am just glad she's out of my life.

My toxic ex-best friend would constantly wind me up then snitch on me to her parents and I was a sensitive little bean with little to no friends and she would leave me and when I confronted her she started screaming at me saying that I didn’t and then the next day someone wanted to talk to me and she said you know I feel sad when you leave me but she was hanging out with MY BULLY then she lied about me and said I said something about her dad then we became friends a few years later (UGH BAD MISTAKE) and I got into her dream school and her parents started a fight with mine saying we let them down so we had to hide every time when school finished and that happened in year 6 so I could never talk to my best friend after school (different person) who I haven’t seen since (I keep contact tho)

I know how that feels...There was one girl in my neighborhood that tried to put me in a relationship with a pedophile and sexually harassed me. I was too young and naive to get that she wasn't my friend until she started to hit me...

Instead of saying “of everyone around her” you should say “with everyone aroun her” But other than that it’s great, this would make for a great female version and if this is how you feel then I hope everything gets better.

You are so honest and I'm so sorry that happened to you, I can also relate except I didn't get stuffed in lickers bc I live in Australia in Qld and we don't have lockers here and we have uniforms, but I do get pushed around physically and metaphorically and things thrown at me and I feel like U don't have any real friends. I’m sorry that happened I can kinda relateI’m 12 I got bullied almost my whole life and my last school all of the kids were fake friends that started to bully me I also almost committed suicide but I just moved and now I have lots of friends I also just convinced my parents to let me cosplay so I am happy but I still have some problems that haven’t gone away but I hope things get better for you too.
