We hope you stick with the planes. They can be very rewarding once you get past the newbie stage. Some planes are relaxing to fly (Valiant). Some (Timber X) are a completely different experience. If you ever have any questions, just ask.

Jason, nice flight with the Timber X. I am looking forward to you getting to fly it at night. TJ, I know you wanted to be very careful with it now that it is Jasons, good job showing its milder capability.

Thanks Tony. We Turned this plane around very quickly. From a pile of broke parts to a nice looking functional airplane. A night flight will be coming soon. Keep an eye out!

Swap to a 13x5 propeller (APC is what i use) & you'll love it! & Get an extra 30 seconds air time. (Yea i know. But it will help, i promise)👍

From this and other videos the Timber X appears to be a plane that can be flown mild to wild depending on use of SAFE and how you set the throws, expo and rates.

We feel this way about alot of our 3d planes. They can fly very easily and mildly. limit controls, rates, and expo. Setup safe and you would have a very easy flying plane. Pilot would have to exercise throttle control, but I suppose you could also limit that channel as well. Thanks for Watching & Commenting.

My Night x is the only plane i have that has a safe rx in it still. BUT, my 6ch, non-safe, spektrum telemetry rx's came in yesterday

@@dsrcplanes When i got back into flying, dec 2019, i used safe. Id do whatever maneuver i wanted (safe off), & when i got disoriented, click! I used safe/as3x up until i actually seen the safe rx's limiting my controls on the extra 300. Swapped out everything to the AR620 recievers. Then wanted to keep my telemetry. So more $$ for 6ch (& 8ch for Rafale) recievers 🤷. Great channel guys! 👍

When we was learning to fly, we did the same thing. It feels great to kick those training wheels off and not need the "Safe" anymore. We still have a some AR630 & AR631 we use on occasion for some planes we question their abilities. But generally we use the AR620. Glad you are enjoying the channel.

I have the same issue with the voltage alarm going off really early like that. Did you ever figure out what causes that, it's driving me crazy.

  • @dsrcplanes

I have not dug into the alarm settings on this plane. However on the NON-BNF receivers I have programed and setup, you can change where the low voltage triggers the alarm. I believe it is in the telemetry settings. Try searching YT for spektrum telemetry - Jason
