Trivia: Believe or not, Kokubuncho will be much more crowded later at night than what you saw in this video. I arrived in Sendai around 10pm on my first day and I saw so many people there. Districts we call "Kanrakugai" are always crowded at late night. But I get too sleepy to shoot a video... 😄

Thank you for sharing Sendai's night life. I have a very special feeling towards this city, as my very first Japanese friend lived very near Sendai and he used to send me pictures from there. A really nice man, who loved nature, kind Takao Otsuka. He and his family were really worried when the 2011 tsunami damaged Fukushima Nuclear Plant, and moved to a city on the Sea of Japan. He has already died but I keep good memories of his kind friendship. Take care, Yoshi san! 🤗

I used the iPhone 14 Pro Max to shoot this video. I set it to record in 4K/60fps/HDR and that's it. Other than that, everything was set to auto. But currently I'm using the Osmo Pocket 3. Honestly it's better than the iPhone. Thank you very much for watching! 😄

Daikannon is located pretty far from here. It's not in the walking distance from the downtown Sendai.
