Video Info
It’s been a while since I did TST, so here’s a night walk in Tsim Sha Tsui! We go from TST East all thr way through to the ferries near Harbour City. Enjoy!
Channel Info
Welcome to Walker HK, where we love exploring, walking, flying, relaxing, and just generally living life. This channel is all about beautiful visuals and natural ambience. Sometimes that means natural binaural audio with virtual walking tours to capture the feeling of the street, other times that means chill music that sets the right mood to drone footage or an excellent sunset. We are mostly based in Hong Kong, but we try to travel as often as possible. That’s what this channel is about. If you like those things, maybe this channel is for you!
I am always trying to push my limits on video and audio quality in order to be bring the best experience to my audience. My inspirations are channels like Nomadic Ambience, Rambalac, Hong Kong Walker, Walk East, Virtual Japan, Watched Walker, and many more. If you like what I do, I think you would also enjoy their channels.

I wonder what time of the evening this was taken??? Seems pretty quiet in comparison to the Hong Kong I know years ago. Very sad.

This was pretty late and I forget if it was on a weekend or weekday. TST and LKF aren't necessarily that big for nightlife anymore, but I there is still plenty of life going on here in HK.

Night life is gone in Hong Kong. Thousands of empty shops throughout the city because property developers raise rent to make businesses unprofitable. The monopolies are also having trouble too because Hong Kong residences spend all their money outside the city in places like Tokyo, Bangkok and other places.

People say that, but there is still plenty of life here. I travel a lot, and Hong Kong still has one of the best night life cultures of any city.

you have a right to your nightlife tastes, but you'd be delusional if you think this "hk nightlife" can continue any longer. the government is busy acting "tough on terrorism" to please beijing, but only succeeds in discouraging anyone from coming here the landlords are their usual selves, jacking up their rental prices. i actually wish they would continue to do so, because one day the banks will say NO to them trying to mortgage their properties(again), and confiscate their assets, putting an end to this madness sadly, this will only happen slowly, so businesses and their employees will continue for suffer longer than needed

As someone who was born and raised in NYC, I can promise you that this rent price issue is not unique to HK. In fact, rents in HK are so much more affordable than NYC and I am literally shocked every time I go back home when I see the general price of living as compared to HK. @@HEALTHANDWEALTHCHANNEL-h6o

@@WalkerHK please have the sense to stop when you associated "affordable" with "hong kong" so you travelled around the world, eh? in order to be able to "travel around the world" you first must be able to get off the ground. i hear a lot of expats who come here, and say besides the rent, everything is "affordable" here. they don't bother to factor in they are already well established in their home country, some coming here is already a cakewalk. contrast that with people who were born here, who have a 90 percent chance of collecting cans for a living until they're 90 when i hear that tripe again, i just smile and walk away/change the subject

This video was taken right at the end of the lock down / openning up of Hong Kong.. there was definitely less night life at that time. It was also kinda late.

Hong Kong can be a most interesting and fun visit--if the political atmosphere was more open. Beijing has been pulling the puppet strings to put into place the National Security Law which local police can interpret at any time or any place. Prospective visitors are left to wonder if it is safe to come. That is the frank image people outside of Hong Kong have.😢
