This video should be seen by everyone before surgery. And you can find videos here in youtube uploaded by clinics stating that lasik will improve your night vision. What bs.

its true that it improves your vision, but at the cost of other side effects

I had LASIK and just want to add my experience...I see Starbursts but not quite as severe as shown here. Maybe like half what is shown. It is very annoying though as I use to somewhat enjoy night driving. It is definitely less enjoyable now.

Did you managed to fix it?

I got Lasik done in the mid 90's and I too am left with halos and starbursts. Have not been able to drive at night since

Wow.. and I am going crazy that I can not drive after 1 year.. what a shame.. hope you are safe if you ever drive at night.

Same here after intra-ocular lens implants. It's only been 5 weeks, but somehow I don't think it'll improve. They're the multi-focal lenses. What a disaster. No way I can drive at night, I'd say mine is worse than this simulation.

Expensive, hard-to-fit, hard contact lenses called scleral lenses. Most patients have to travel to find an expert fitter.
