Nigerians Cry Tears After Moving To Europe...But WAIT...THERE'S MORE!

Ойын-сауық

Nigerians are leaving Nigeria for greater opportunities in The West. However, many Nigerians are finding out that The West is NOT as easy as they once believed. Many wish they would have stayed in Nigeria and fought through the pains.

Nigeria is doing what the white colonialists wish they did back in the day instead of slavery...we are expanding our colonial powers without having to be a war-mongering colonialist or even colonialist at that.; we have successfully expanded to many countries, and some of the Nigerians in those countries are pivotal to the country's economy. You see, my friend, don't look at things with just an observatory mindset. Sometimes, an imaginary mindset can show you things your observations cannot. Yes, you can observe us leaving Nigeria, but when you use your imagination, you see what Nigerians are doing, which has always been how cultures survive the times. How cultures expand. The difference between the rest of the world and Nigeria is that Nigeria has been expanding like them, but we didn't have to warmonger to do it. We did it by finding ways to be useful in this world, whether in the homeland or abroad.

I can tell you that some of those emigrating to the West from Nigeria or some other African country have no business doing so esp when they are doing so well in their own countries. . Some of it is peer pressure not necessarily due to hardship in Nigeria There is one couple that left for Canada some years ago just bcos the wife's friend had emigrated to that country, so she too wanted to go. Her husband worked in a top oil company here and in Nigeria, you can live like a king as an oil worker. But the woman put so much pressure on her husband, he resigned his lucrative job and moved abroad with his family. He couldn't get the same kind of job as he had in Nigeria and he now drives a cab to feed his family Thing is, if yiu are doing well in Africa, good income and lifestyle, it doesn’t make sense selling everything and going abroad, thinking the grass is greener. Its not. Abroad life is tough too. Bottomline is, its a personal choice to travel out or not; whatever they face there they should face it and stop crying on social media. But we need to build our countries so we enjoy our continent with all the immense resources it has

When people like you speak, they show their ignorance. People have legitimate reasons to live for a while abroad, perhaps studying or working. There are Americans and Europeans working in Nigeria. Sadly a lot of the best jobs in terms of the pay are given to white foreigners. I guess colonialism has not left Africa.

Is there a war in Nigeria? Why should they get money and place to live? My exhusband is immigrant from other country and continent, when he came to Europe, it was our decision, he was not escaping from a war. We did all the immigration process, and not asked anything from the country, it was our responsibility to provide for us the place to live. When we divorced and I went to live from my home country to Spain with the kids, I did not ask and get anything from Spain, I paid all the moving, the flat, and looked for work. Spain did not give me a cent to come here and live, it is not their responsibility. I'm not against immigration at all, as my exhusband was immigrant, then I migrated to other country because I wanted to live on the seaside with palm trees, but we have to distinguish between economic or other reasons migrants and the refugees from war. Refugees from war need help, but no country has obligation to house and give money to economic migrants just because they don't want to live at home. If I would move to Nigeria, should I get a house and money to live??? I do not think so....

It's very simple. Nigerians look at the West through the lens of western media that shows a luxury lifestyle. To a Nigerian, if you are not living in luxury in the West...its considered a failure. It's better to stay in Nigeria if you have access to steady income, a reliable extended family and friend network... that will ensure you and your family are never homeless or hungry. A strong social circle is like having a standing army against the trials of everyday life.

They claim Nigeria is the worst in Africa, yet they could raise between N10-20million in the same Nigeria to travel abroad. How many Africans have such money to Jakpa. Many Africans wouldn't leave their country if they had the same amount Nigerians spend on school fees and Jakpa. They can't even raise that money from their economy. Yet our Nigerian brothers lament about everything.

Africa is for self-employment for the majority. Access to capital is a problem unless your father sets up a trust fund for you. You need money to create money. Tribalism is another issue. It will determine whether you will be hired or not hired. It does not matter how many degrees under your belt: the tribe in power eliminates so many candidates due tribal nonsense. Borrowing from an African back is a death sentence. The interest on the loan is very high, and many can not afford to take on a loan. Many lose hope and move overseas for green pastures. Sometimes, you succeed overseas, and this can take many years of pain and struggle. I will never discourage anyone from traveling and seek a better life outside their country of origin. When an African decides to leave the continent, it means the person has hit a wall. They are not able to survive, so they chooseJapa.

Not trying to be sarcastic with this question: If Nigerians are so smart why can't they make their own country #1 in the world? They are good in someone else's paradigm that has already been built. If they would control their own paradigm in their own country they would be one of the best in the world. In a paradigm that is not your own, one can only do what they are allowed to do no matter how smart you are or think you are. You must own and control everything in your country.

@@coach6463 let me put that into context. For those who CAN ACCESS africa (like 99 percent of Africans who are abroad) then YES the best place to do ANYTHING as a black person is in Africa. The average FBA no. Because they have no access to Africa...but Africans in the DIASPORA YES and some of us who have got our way into the system. This video was DIRECTED at Nigerians so I assume that is who it was for. If you took that last part as a call for FBA's (or historical African Americans to come to Africa) that is not what I meant. But YES Africa is STILL Great and Black America is great. That statement was directed at AFRICAN diasporas.
