Love them both but both are on a meteoric rise right now and coupling up with a costar at this point in their career would not be a good thing for these two in my opinion. Actors to move on and do a lot of projects that may keep them on the move and growing. Both may wind up acting in another job where they are required to fall in love on the show. We can’t expect them to start dating everyone they work with. That has happened with some other actors and it just doesn’t necessarily work out! They can still love each other and have each other’s back but just as close friends.

On their rise to stardom, they have had special moments and experiences that only the two of them share. That will never change. However, acting is a job, and they played their parts well. I am happy they are living their best lives and that they have something enviable in their close friendship!!

they are just brilliant actors. Maybe this was just advertising and bringing views and fame to the series. Only Nicola deserves better than luke Someone mature and funny and not afraid to show his feelings. Someone you can settle down with. She is thirty-seven years old and Nick is still young and hangs out with young girls. He goes out every time with women with a good body. Perfect and superficial, what is accepted by society, beautiful Nicola, beautiful inside and out, she deserves to be appreciated and loved sincerely.❤❤❤

I agree that Nicola is a treasure. Just keep in mind that Luke's choice of women, though they have typical arm candy looks, may also be people of substance...maybe.😊

The bond between Luke and Nicola is unbreakable . Luke can have all girlfriends he wants but none of them will be as compatible as Nicola is. They might never be romantically involved but any woman coming his way must understand that when it comes to chemistry they don’t stand a chance.

Many people thought the same thing about Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma) and Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) in S-2. With JB being gay, we all knew that would never happen. The actors are trained to put on a convincing performance for us, the audience, not to make our fantasies of their real life love connections a reality 😊. It does sometimes come true, but rarely.

While they would make a beautiful couple, it’s not their time. Nicola needs a man who really knows what he wants. I absolutely love Luke and Nicola as individuals, but he still has some growing up to do in order to be the kind of off screen partner she needs and deserves. At this point they’re better off as friends, it’s a beautiful relationship that they have right now. I personally would be devastated if all the toxic commentary surrounding Luke’s alleged GF and his friendship with Nicola led to a rift between them.

You can be good enough friends and actors to show that kind if chemistry.....just look at Simone Ashley and Jonathon Bailey!

People tend to take fiction for reality, like others said previously they are just two excellent actors who were promoting their movie. They are both entitled to have a wonderful private life after work.

In the other hand if they desire to pursue a romantic relationship under the radar now obviously would not be the best time to do that. I pray that If this is their desire that they have the opportunity to explore the beauty and layers of their connection without being overwhelmed or criticized by the media. It would also be interesting if the “girlfriend” was the real act with the purpose of offering a cover story to allow them privacy. But that could just be my denial speaking 😂 past present or future…I believe this love is more romantic than platonic. Prayers for both of their happiness and passions in life ❤
