No historical fact of antiquity is so well documented, evidenced archaeologically, scrutinized, and vindicated as the ministry, persecution, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth the Christ. Given that he fulfilled centuries of Scriptural prophecy, he most certainly is who he claimed to be: the eternal Son of the Father and God almighty. Truly, no one can say he did not know Jesus is Christ, only that he denies this truth in unrighteousness. Repent and trust in Christ.

Thank you so much for your posts. I grew up catholic and went to a catholic school and I wrote Bible knowledge as a subject for my finals. The choice was French or Bible and since Bible involved a book it was no contest. The bible has always been there for me to read and study. It's mystery is a magnet to me. Im 61 years old now and since the internet came out I have been lucky enough to come across so much information that corroborates everything in the bible. To me it's not about believing it anymore but a SURE KNOWLEDGE that Christ is the Lord and our saviour

The Bible stands the test of time as it is. It needs nothing else to convey the message of salvation through the risen god man Jesus

Actually, before the Bible, there was the Didache, provided to the Apostles by Jesus Himself. Thereafter, it was the extensive writings of the Apostles and Apostolic Fathers who taught AS JESUS TAUGHT THEM. These are the teachings that carry far more weight than the New Testament Bible, which came long after these earlier writings. Sadly, the New Testament Bible itself eventually fell into the hands of men like Martin Luther, who chose to reinterpret the scriptures according to their modernist desires. To accept your view would be like accepting the view of the Communist/Marxist Movement that is quickly destroying society and Christianity (in America and throughout the world today) by denying truth.

When the tombs were opened during the earthquake that happened at the time of Jesus' death, those people were said to have been recognized by many as they went into the city. They absolutely did not die, they were ascended into Heaven when Jesus was. He had descended into Hell after his death and freed their souls, which until that time it was not possible for anyone to enter into Heaven, until Jesus conquered death, reuniting their souls with their bodies. Different religions vary on their understanding of this. Now we know that when we die, our souls go to Heaven for our judgment. Some get to stay, some go to Purgatory outside of Heaven separate from Jesus for varying lengths to repent for their sins, and some are sent to Hell, like Hitler, where they spend eternity. Our bodies will reunited with our souls and resurrected after the second coming of Jesus. Some people believe their life force no longer exists, that there is simply no afterlife, like the Jews. This was surprising to me to learn, that they have no hope of an afterlife. Some Protestants describe the person as merely sleeping, that their souls will not attain heaven until after the second coming of Jesus, when they are also bodily resurrected.

@@suesmith8372 Purgatory is NOT based on any Jewish/Hebrew tradition nor upon Scripture. It is an artificial idea and construction of the Roman Catholic organization, just as so MUCH of religious dogma and doctrine of the Catholic organization is. Your assertion that the Jews had no belief in the afterlife reveals your lack of knowledge of both Scripture and lack of knowledge of Judaic history and theology. You ought to invest some time to consider the innumerable errors of the Catholic organization and their doctrines and practices. The distortion of the day of Crucifixion and full 3 days and nights in the grave, was to serve the vanity of the Catholic's calculation of solar calendar, despite Scripture and the entire Jewish tradition - as Jesus is eternally Jewish - of use of lunar calendar to designate the months and God ordained Appointment Days or Feast Days, including the intersecting days of Passover/Pesach and Unleavened Bread, during which Jesus was crucified and Resurrected. People must really wonder about the lack of research and reasoning of those who identify as Catholic. Christians are admonished to verify the claims of Scripture, while Catholics do not study the facts and history, just the dogma. This has helped promulgate some of the longest running sin and criminal sexual abuse by priests and nuns - alleged religious "orders" not found in Scripture nor commanded by God. Catholicism matches, sadly, with one of the 7 types of Christian congregations noted in Revelation, the ungodly authoritarian Nikolaitans.

It's politely termed a gloss, correcting a perceived mistake in retrospect. There's another at the start of the Gospel of Mark (missing from an earlier text found in the Essene scrolls suppressed by the Vatican in the mid 20th Century) as well as in the only mention of Jesus in Josephus. The puzzle is to identify the real person with that cognomen, the heir of David, as Jesus (Joshua, "Saviour") and Christos (Chrestos, "Anointed") are both honorific cognomens, not personal names. James is extensively corroborated in Heroditus, and other family members are also named.

@@Maxtana5 You're absolutely correct, I'm very focused on Chapter 6 as a seer medium, with Chapter 7 as a serious extension of the same. However, one clean-up attempt, in the Devotio Moderna, which started c1379 with the adoption of Jan van Ruusbroek's philosophy by Gerardus Groot, leading to Windesheim thence Protestantism and the Enlightenment, cannot be disregarded. The key to it is the 1414-18 Council of Constance, which needed an academic case, finally revealed in Pope Eugenius IV's reign, which saw van Eyck's Mystic Lamb/Fountain of Life and Dufay's Armed Man fall in as the quadrivium supports for the theology - both were staffers on the Council Secretariat at Constance, and the pieces I cite are supposed to be viewed both rationally and emotionally, as Arithmetic/Music and Geometry/Cosmology

  • @JelMain

    @JelMain

    2 ай бұрын

@@Maxtana5 I was called to be a seer medium, properly tested by the CofE - in fact, the testing was what metamorphed my faith response to Samuel's small voice into the full certainty of experience. I'd listened, even got dug out of what I was doing to be on the right spot at the right time, and it was so perfect an answer to a whole Church's prayers that they decided I should be tested to see where I was coming from. That test, in public, seeking an ability to read a concealed truth, had the congregation in uproar, whereas my reaction was "gone and done it proper this time", so I called on the voice who'd been so right first time round, and from whom nothing is hidden, to reply through me. That was done by clearing my channels with a fast OurFather, and diving for cover in the deepest meditative hole I could find. What spoke through me was not of me, but answered the question precisely. It moved me to the position where a lot of preparatory work came together, on paths which won the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize, which I cite not to claim the kudos - that belongs on high - but that you may know me by an independent audit of my fruits. It's only intermittent, as needed, allowing me some freedom of choice, but was seen fully when a number of Harley Street's psychiatrists got interested. Their findings were yet another temptation to glorify myself, but created a schizoid alternative persona which wasn't the one which won the honours. The lies told me when young created an individual which wasn't scientifically factual, and I've just emerged from it with a clearer view greatly damaged by the grief of assassinating the false. A part of that journey towards the Prize was the completion of Gandhi's unfinished business, which started when I escorted two of my wife's cousins to the local supermarket, and while waiting for them, had the hint from the familiar voice, stand over there. Eight hours later, I'm walking home with peace for a subcontinent in my pocket, full of thanks and worship, and realising that it was just one more easy step along a path of the same, building me from a very incompetent Frank Spencer into someone the UN trusted with the rescue of Albania. It's called being a Tier One individual, which may have been spotted when I was 8y6m - the SAS came asking, but due diligence showed flaws in the politicians behind them, and so I walked alone. But when you're chosen, you never are alone, and so after being tagged by Peter Carington as a high-flyer, I was on a path which inevitably led me to refute Clausewitz's thinking, officially, creating a path towards peacemaking. That Gandhi business proved that I should expect the last step in the progression had to be the alpha and omega, which turned out to be the implosion of the RC Eucharistic movement. The first steps in taking control of the ArchiAssociation of the Eucharist revealed threats from the Mother Superior General, in Court, to 4000 local children, and once we'd sent an embassy to the Vatican to explain, based in the original intent of the Foundress, the question arose as to exactly what we'd had land on us: the physical grounding of the Devotio Moderna, for starters, but the heritage of the Arca Dei behind that. An early stage of that process involved an imposed crucifixion experience, traumatising me, which was drained in meditation upon the affinity it created for the metamorphosis. It's offered understanding in the medical profession for how the therapies work.

Almost everything we have or rather allowed to have has passed through hands that did not believe in God in the first place. All these are so called experts that throw it in the fire because they don't want it to exist. We were told the bible is not real all the apocryphal texts are not real. The dead sea across dated many writings before the birth of Christ by 100 to 200 years and yet people say they are not real. Read the testaments of the patriarchs. They were Christians before it was a term. And the black hats have decided what we can have or the apostate church.

This is all an unfortunate attempt at bolstering the Word but, nevertheless, Christ will transform your life through His real Word. I challenge anyone here to read the New Testament regularly with an open heart and mind and deny its power. All of us would struggle to recount our encounters with God, as the men and women of ancient times did. They used every genre of literature available, every oral story at their disposal, struggled with limited vocabularies and no educations of note, generally speaking, but the overall product is exceptional and conveys the power of God. One should always remember that the Bible was written for us, not to us and some knowledge of the cultures of that day helps tremendously.

Once saved eating and remembering the meat parts that back up cannon and the bones part I had to spit out as has always been their perspective. I read so many books and texts from BC and in his time and after. Most of the true history is only shared with a few today and since it was recorded. once saved very easy to see what is their viewpoint and what is true. For example Noah's flood and the epic of Gilgamesh. We know well the facts and origin of it. And knowing the truth of it we can easily eat the meat of truth from it and spit out the rest being from their perspective opposite of ours about the historic event. And what followed. All those city-state kingdoms of Noah's descendants to Kish or "Kush" the old city-state founded and ruled by I believe Kush. then along the same fertile crescent line SE of Where Noah ended up Er, Eridu, Uruk, and so on where Nimrod built Babel. Where then all those alive and the gods and goddesses they worshipped and knew names of got changed and were the same gods and goddesses (maybe Nephilim mothers human women or fewer details half fallen watcher half-human females though it is rare to find males.) The Ziggrotes and pyramids all around the world all have one origin. Not built by civilizations of those with no wheels or a few copper chisels but by the ones that came before them when they came and found the ruins incorporating them into their civilizations. Such as South & Central American ruins of masonry. Nimrods Bebel Ziggarot I believe. And the city-state kingdom he ruled there in the fertile crescent. The thousands of clay tablets found i the ruins of those early cities and civilizations that began after the flood with Noah's closest relatives after a few centuries with them still living long Norha and kids that was a large population of the time nothing compared to now of course but the history in those and the true history not translated correctly or that backs up perfectly with the biblical narrative is a world of wonder I have read and studied for years. And my years as a Mason & Shriner I studied it all I had to do was throw the bones out I never digested and looking back I see it clearly how it all backs up the true narrative.

King James bible is a very corrupted one. King James is the one who got the original writings to be translated into be aligned to suits him, when he himself got his wife murdered. The Geneva bible and the Douay-Rheims Holy Bible were both translated copied from the Septuagint writings. These bibles are at least more accurate, especially the Douay-Rheims Holy Bible has more (73) books in it.

@@Psalm_9394 - It's a slip-up that exposes the inauthenticity of the work. It is largely a compilation of the gospels. I found it interesting that it quoted both versions of the Great Commission - Matthew's and Mark's. "...baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." That's Matthew 28 and Mark 16. It also bears witness to the antiquity of the "additions to Mark" (Mark 16:9-20) that every Atheist shill wants us to believe wasn't added until the 10th century or whatever. The Gospel of Nicodemus was dated to the late 200s (third century) and includes "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." This belies the claim of these "experts" that just because the Gnostic texts (Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus) don't include Mark 16:9-20 that these verse were added much later. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are 4th century forgeries. That's over 100 years later than this Gospel of Nicodemus. These experts are not very good at dethroning the King but they keep on trying.

The canonization isn't exactly as you make out: the criteria used for inclusion/exclusion are "interesting" to say the least. Christ's own approach (Matt 6-7) makes it clear faith is very intensely personal, and in no wise Organisational, having some harsh words to say about the presumption of the latter, and its consequences. I'll add a personal note, that my experience aligns with this, as my own path was determined 80 years before my birth, and I had to be Jonahed onto that path when humility said no. On it, I achieved a lot, but the credit belongs on high, not with me. You don't need intercession either, just a recognition that nothing passes unnoticed and almost everything is forgiven - except harming children.

English (and Germanic/Nordic) speaking protestants are funny. They don't realize that in the Romance language, Greek speaking/influenced, and Slavic countries - most of Europe and the Christians in the Near and Middle East regions - what they call 'Sunday" is the "Lord's Day" in their local/liturgic language, and what they call 'Easter' is "Pascha"/Passover in their local/liturgic language. I too, enjoyed reading this awhile ago. It makes for a comforting account. However, some of it appears to be a "copy and paste" from a couple of our known books in our Bibles. Here is my issue: Luke , who was not there to witness the crucifixion, was the only one to write the account of the thief acknowledging him and mention of the Kingdom. The two other accounts from two of actual disciples and Apostles are in agreement that even the two thieves were mocking and scoffing him. They were there as witnesses. As it is written and witnessed through Yeshua's actions by those who walked with him he acted in complete obedience to the Law. That being said, there is the issue of what has to be done in regards for repentance, atonement and forgiveness. If he changed anything, a jot or tittle, he would not be in compliance and it would make his statement regarding such a lie. He, did not lie or change one thing before or after his earthly death. Just saying.

I’m still brand new to reading these accounts and some of the books that were once in the Bibles, some of the writings in the DSS and a few others. I’m sharing things often soon after I see them myself mostly because I get excited to see what’s written as it fills in a blank somewhere. (Like this one. “He came to set the captives free” including Joseph of Aramathea ! It was perfect) I’ve heard of some having issues with Luke’s writings in addition to others. You may enjoy a channel called Jesus’ words only. I know he has covered a lot of what I think you are referring to and looked at early writings of the church fathers and different accounts than we are used to. I really believe the repentant thief would not be rejected, though. Many people turn to God at the end. I can’t see that being rejected. Is that what you mean?

He came therefore, and took away His body. 39 And Nicodemus came also, who had first come to Him by night; bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds weight. 40 And so they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. “
