Yeah, biking around all day and drinking red bull is probably terrible for your heart and dehydrates. Kind of like how Sprite tries to make basketball commercial, but you bring a 20oz to a bball court and you will get gas cramps and possibly puke.

Thats what i always think when i watch these videos. If you make cars or pedestrians to slow down or even stop to let you pass you failed, you dont show any skill by doing so, if the car doesnt want to stop he will just hit you so you are asking every time you cross a red light please dont hit me, its very stupid. You need to be like invisible for the traffic, go where you wanna go but dont make anyone to change their course because of you.

Making me miss banging around Chicago on all forms of wheels. City really does have a rhythm be it on a bike, in a car or on your own two feet. Pick the right route and time and you can fly across Gotham. Now I live in Munich and while it's a biker's city too it doesn't have the same heartbeat!

Great race! Lightspeed 30 yrs ago In NYC I had a matsuri trac bike stolen ,1 yr later dude was selling "gold matsuri trac bike with red pon stripe" I grabbed a billyclub hopped a cab and rode "my bike" home 2 weeks later it got.nabbed again Wasnt meant to Be Greay video , more please! When I had a run from wall st to harlem I took my bike on the subway ,7 minutes express That was winter it was raining I wore a wetsuit for surfing Never got cold!

What is a bike?

I worked as a courier for 3 years for uber on/off while in school and 10 years cycling on the roads in Toronto. I can tell you right now, I have never been in 1 accident but seen many others get into ones. Number 1 reason was cause they were going through lights or doing tight turns near fast cars. Honestly, any young person just cause you see these videos doesn't mean you're invincible to reality. Be careful and stay safe when cycling in cities.

@Donald Trump A little history for ya. In the early 1900s the entire city was raised approx 4 feet to build it's sewers. And the elevation I'm talking about is near South loop, the hills over there near downtown are about a 7-10 ft hieght increase. Real struggling for bikers like me trying to get to the trail near Buckingham fountain.

Yo if any of you are bikers, check out the Triple Aught Design Fast Pack EDC two strap backpack. I only use that now. I started out using a Chrome Messenger, but when you are carrying a decent amount of stuff, your shoulder begins to hurt really bad. So I switched to a two strap bag. The Fast Pack EDC is a great two-strap backpack because it is made to handle a heavy load and it has a great amount of padding. Even better than a Chrome backpack.

Cyclist guy in this Red Bull video - FANTASY. Angry taxi driver or just any other insane &/or careless car driver hit you after few sec. of ride in this busy traffic (maybe 'just' with a car door...) -REALITY. Yeah, btw I go everyday on my bikes too in city & yeah, I still alive but I think it's not 'cause the drivers are so kind here, in my city (& I think the same applies for every cities in these days)... Sadly I know only a really few countries (in USA & Europe) where still safe to cycling in the bigger cities.

How many fuckin laws did this biker break? Like holy shit. Just cause you ride a bicycle doesn't mean you can do whatever the fuck you want in the street.

This is the exact reason why no one really likes cyclists. Running reds and rushing through pedestrians are the two big no nos. As a biker, running reds is only ok if traffic is slow or non-existent

Anyone riding a bike on the street in downtown In between the lanes is partially insane to begin with. But damn do I love the rush of it all. (But I go through rear tires like chewing gum, I have a instinctual habit of drifting if I need to make emergency sharp turns. But hey a $15-$20 tire is better than getting rear ended by an aggressive taxi making a right turn.)
