What hit? This is real life for me.

I was bullied for about 5 years by my whole class. I tried to tell my grandma when she informed the principal, he didn’t do anything. No one believed me, no matter what happened it was my fault. I gave up on trying to get help. Few years later I started cutting. My mom could care less, it’s hard sometimes. I’ve learned to deal with it. The hardest thing is being as empathetic as I am, to a point it hurts me. I want everyone to be happy no matter how I feel or what it does to me. Thank you for reading

This is the first song to actually make me cry. Literally this song that I have found In the last 5 minutes has been so accurately relatable to me it's scary. Same for me. When my friend first gave me the link to this song a month ago, I thought "Alone, huh, I wonder if it's good" and it just got me crying for half an hour. For an entire week I kept listening to it over and over again and thinking I ruined my life and I would end up as unhappy as the boy in the song is. Now as I'm reading the comments I realize that I was not the only one and I really hope all of us can go through it in the end and come out stronger and better

This is officially one of the saddest songs with the most upbeat tune

The second verse when the kid was 15 hit me real deep, cause when I was 16, I was working at a grocery store and a small restaurant, and after my ex left me, I fell into a spiral, stealing alcohol from the store, getting drunk every night, ended up costing me both my jobs, and I ended up losing a good majority of my friends. I was broken, and didn't see any way for things to get better. But here I am, 20 years old now, sober, Im back at the restaurant as the head cook, I have people that I can trust now, and who I don't have to change who I am for. If there's anyone who reads this and is going through something similar, I just want to tell you that even when it seems like there's nothing left for you in life, you never know what blessing is waiting for you around the next corner. And if you're around my age, one thing you have to learn is that there is so much more life ahead, and if you let it beat you now, you'll miss out on all the blessings that life may have in store.

I’m not wearing my headphones to listen to my favourite songs undisturbed. I’m listening to them with headphones to block out the sound of people calling me all sorts of names and making fun of me for stupid things. “You can’t relate to a song about a boy!” Yeah, it’s not about gender. I generally just relate perfectly. I may be a girl who’s barely halfway through high school, but I understand a lot of things. That’s just how my mind works. Stop assuming I had a messed up past. I just understand things really easily.
