I just got my Roberts last weekend. I'm 11.5EE on Brannock. Initially my Nicks Roberts in 11EE seems to be a little long at first, but the width and arch is about perfect. It's so nice to have arch support not found in 95% of shoes out there. After wearing for a few days, the length seems fine. It's really more a of a trick of my visual perspective. Overall, the footbed is really about perfect. Around my foot, they feel a little loose, as if the laces won't tighten far enough. This is an easy fix, as I just got a pair of their leather insoles, which are really worth it. It fills the space, and provides more leather to mould to my foot. I'm wearing the boots to break them in without the insoles first, and compressing the footbed to the shape of my foot. After worn in a bit, I will add the insoles back in to get it to mould in even better. So far, I can say honestly that I highly recommend these boots.

Me too man. It’s so unique. Never seen a Nicks actually built with leather (though I knew it was option on their custom configurations). Still adjusting to this arch. It’s very different and probably not ideal for my feet. Giving it time to see if it starts to feel less awkward.

So after the original adjustment to the higher arch, these have become super comfortable. It’s odd as some of my older boots now feel too flat and strange. I wore my Oak Street Trench boot earlier this week and compared to my higher arch PNW boots, they almost felt collapsed. The only boots I own that sort of split the difference are my Overlanders in the HNW Last, and my Viberg 310’s. Both aren’t higher arch Lasts, however they have good arch support and don’t feel flat.

How is the leather sole wearing after a year? Asking because I have pair coming in the fall with leather sole on the 11067 last. The leather sole is still holding up. However I have many boots so wear is spread across. Many pairs. The leather sole is definitely more comfortable than my rubber sole Nicks. I actually want to get another leather sole MTO as they feel so nice. They definitely flex better and have superior comfort. However they won’t be nearly as durable. I try not to wear them in the wet as I assume it will wear the soles faster softening the leather.

@@Yoda-Hulk ya I’ve had many pairs of 55’s from Whites. But all were 11D or 11.5D. With the 67 I own a bunch in 11E and tried on and returned a pair in 11.5D. I would definitely say the 67 is a little narrower than the 55. I have an 11.5D Whites 55 which works, but feels slightly long. I prefer a tighter fit. The 67 RTS I returned that was 11.5D felt slightly too narrow. However the shapes are a bit different. I would say the 67 is more generous on the big toe because it’s more straight, but doesn’t have as much pinky toe room, since it doesn’t curve out like the 55. If toe box room is a big concern you could get the Thurman55 and have no issues. That’s the Last I want to buy next. I owned a ThurmanNW for a few months and the toe box was great. However I prefer the arch being taller like the 67/55. So the Thurman55 is the solution.
