It’s not Beyoncé’s song so Beyonce complied with whatever Nicki had in mind. and I’m sure Nikki dictated wether she wanted singing or just the casual talking on the song. Not every song suits belts and harmonies.

People who can't see Beyoncé outside of RNB are so annoying it's a fun song she didn't need to sing or anything
