This whole video is honestly like one massive fever dream, and I love it for that. So many random elements and styles swirling together with only the thinnest thread of logic and story to hold it all together.

Im so happy you did this reaction! But in my opinion you should have watched paparazzi first. Telephone is a part 2 of it.

Gaga's music videos are rarely related to the song lol they're usually telling more than one story

The Song Is about stalking while the video is a commentary on consumer society and violence and how we "dance around dead and poisoned people"

Wow haven’t seen this in years! Love the song and I liked the video back then but now that I’m older it really seems insane lol. Almost like the Gaga and Beyoncé in their star spangled outfits represent the fall of America or something. They don’t want to listen to their conscience (telephone) anymore, telling it to stop calling them, and are encouraging others to detach from their conscience/reality as well. Taken literally the video is terrifying but I guess it could be seen metaphorically as them encouraging people to feel instead of overthink. Or maybe the mass murder means sacrifice is needed for freedom to exist. Not sure. Curious what others think.

Maybe they just want to dance lol It’s such an unserious video that you can take it how you want, deep dive or ridiculously shallow dive lol

exactly they are representing american consumerism and fast food culture as the poison that is killing everybody, and at the same time they are liberating themselves through it, the dichotomy!

Just because you didn’t get it, doesn’t mean you constantly have to say it weird.

To him, it's weird. You are here for his reaction, right? For someone just watching a one off of her music video's, it's fucking weird. You can't expect someone to know the backstory of 100s of movies, tv shows and music video's he watches lol.

@@jordy6144-d9t lol yes but when people constantly say oh that’s weird that’s weird there’s still a full on negative connotation to that rather than saying I don’t get it, is there something I’m missing. Instead of the aim to want to know more, there’s an apparent judgement

@@ImJustinPineda Well I would say to a random adience that doesn't know her or the backstory, weird is the right word. It's exactly how I feel aswell. Like when I think of Lady Gaga, I don't think of her music... I just instantly think 'oh she's weird'. I feel like that's kinda how she portrayed herself and you can't expect everyone that just wants to listen to her one time to dive into the backstory and research before listening to a song. I also don't think there is anything wrong with labeling something as negative, a reaction doesn't always have to have a positive spin in my opinon.
