Hullo Katy, I was considering the Nicker poster paints, so I am looking for some videos about them! Thank you for sharing your experience with them. I have used gouache for many years and getting that “sweet spot” for coverage and flow is the real key to opaqueness. Thank you for the video. I did work at a studio where after we finished painting the pictures were taken outside and sprayed with a Matt spray finish so everything was flat and ready for photos. It did help with the uneven spots on most background fields of color. Please take care and keep posting your videos!

Thank you Sonya ❤️ I thought a gouache dragon was a little overdue 😁 I'm glad you liked it 🥰 they are lovely to paint with, a joy in fact. However the prices I've seen can be ridiculous, so if you do want to try them absolutely shop around!

I got the last 15 seconds of the live so I caught the end result before the prep! Such a lovely dragon though and the colours are gorgeous.

Nice job. I’ve never seen these paints before, when you say poster paints, I think of those horrible chalky pains that they use in school. 😅

These are so different to that though. I'm curious about the sakura brand, but I've never had much luck getting my hands on some (mainly the price or failed shipping) I shall keep trying though as they are meant to be similar!

I remember the horoscope dragons. I really like them! I like this one as well. Very interested in this series. I've had fun with the gouache I have. I don't have a lot. So am very interested in the different brands.

I have been looking at this brand but it is very pricy. I have Doms/Camlin. I don't think they are lightfast, but they are vibrant and pleasant to use. Also, can be found on a good deal if you are patient.

Will your next dragon be from Anne McCaffreys books. - you said intergalactic?

Thank you Hazel Jane Hopkins ♥️ ahhhh! Anne McCaffrey 😍 I loved reading those back in my late teens. A wonderful escape! I read up to the dragon Harper of Pern and sadly never caught back up. My favourite book was the white dragon, maybe a loosely based white dragon as a nod to Ruth and one of my favourite series growing up. Thank you for reminding me 🥰
