I just got the 36 jar set of these off Amazon. $90, ao def not cheap. I am obsessed with gouache so of course i had to have these! You make it look so wasy working with them. I love your style as well ❤❤

That was a good purchase. I bought it about 4 USD per jar in China.

Oh, this is cute! I understand how the pink doesn't suit your own tastes, but I think it still looks so charming in that piece! I have white that I haven't really used yet beyond to splatter stars on things, but I keep contemplating if I want to buy some more to play with. Maybe the next time a friend of mine goes to Japan I can ask them to pick some up for me and until then, I've always go my holbein gouache. I love the sense of serenity this color palette yielded, though!

I'm glad you liked it! Honestly when I bought the pink in Japan I wasn't expecting it to be so fluorescent so that really threw me off lol. I may try to get a coral pink in the future to try it out again. I would definitely recommend trying out some other colors if you can, my white acted so different and I know you can get amazing results with this paint. Holbein is definitely my go to as well! If you like that then you'll probably like how these paints work :D

I'm sorry yours is smelly! I've noticed I don't like the smell of some animal hair brushes when wet, so that might be it. I'm glad you like these paints! I plan to try them again in the future :D
