    This is how OT should be even on the Olympic level. No one should lose a tie match! It’s silly and just ridiculous to lose on a tie after waiting four years and training a lifetime I couldn’t imagine. With two guys like this neither are riding for significant time. So you wrestle till a takedown.

I think both men earned the right to be patient. These two guys do as well. How ever, we need to move the meet along. Rules have to be bigger then the match and competitors always. Something has to be in place to avoid a 20 min overtime , as rare as it does Happen.

    Sport is growing just fine. Its bigger now than its ever been. The reason it may not ever be as big as other sports is because its not a sport for pussies, and most of the country (especially nowadays) is pussified. This is by far the hardest scholastic sport there is, and even harder if you want to be great at it. Countless hours of dedication. Not many are willing to work that hard to be good at something. Much easier to dribble a ball. The uniform is just an easy excuse that many of the pussies like to make. No one wants to say they arent tough enough, so we will just blame the tight uniform. The guys who are willing to prove how tough they are, dont care what they have to wear to do it. Already seen a few of my area high school programs offer the two peice uniforms and guess what, didnt make a bit of difference in the number of kids on the roster. Its not the uniforms, its the lazy kids.

    @@bogilmore2773 Jesus, are you going to tell kids to get off your lawn too? Wrestling singlets are lod fashioned and holding back participation. Maybe you are gay and enjoy seeing wrestlers' gonads through a singlet? Calling young kids "pussies" might make you feel better, but they probably don't want to wear a leotard while in combat. I wore a singlet in high school and college wrestling. Stupid uniform.

  • @bogilmore2773

    @bogilmore2773

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@rudai123 I've seen it firsthand. Offer the kid a two piece instead of a singlet and he usually still walks away from the sport. The kids that make the singlet excuse are usually just afraid to give an honest reason about why they wont wrestle. Its either too hard, or theyre scared to lose in a physical, one on one sport infront of hundreds of people. Numerous high schools now offer the two piece uniforms but I'd say a good 80 to 90 percent of the wrestlers chose to wear singlets instead. Ive gone to the Ohio state tournament every year since I was 7 years old. You look around the arena and you dont see very many two pieces. My dad is a coach in Ohio. His school offers both uniforms. It didnt drastically change the numbers on the team and his entire team still chooses to wear the singlets. Two piece singlets look terrible and are just as revealing!!! Ive seen way too many heavyweights asses falling out of their shorts to say I support the two piece uniform. Shirts rolling up their bellies and pants falling down is more embarassing, in my opinion, than wearing a tight singlet. It was designed that way for a purpose. To help prevent injuries to the opposing wrestler, and to keep you completely covered at all times on the mat. But yea, guess Im gay for supporting a uniform that looks and functions much better than the alternative.
