Good stuff, Cole. Agree w/all you said: - he ran fball program top to bottom. Next coach won't have those keys - lane is great - wrong temperament for T-Town - Dabo - playing like portal doesn't exist - I'm not sure he would ever have been a real candidate, but portal philosophy is a disqualifier.

Great video. Listening to you speak, I wonder if this process might drag out longer than CT people will like. However, I completely agree with you that they have to get it right. Too much at stake for that program. I feel kind of strongly that they need to hire an insider like Georgia did with Kirby Smart. It might require some setup inside the athletics department, but DeMarco Ryans is out there. Even if he said no, already, I still think he could end up there.

Easy. Saban gets a TV contract to be an in-studio analyst for college football.

With Dabo not wanting to take advantage of the transfer portal I don’t think they want him at Alabama.

I agree with college football taking a massive hit but the man isn’t dying or dead. You still can have conversations with him. He will still give advice and interviews and be seen on ESPN. He will be on ESPN and sign a massive deal. Just wait

😮😮 who would want to follow Saban at Bama..bigger question is who replaces the guy that follows Saban.? 😮😮 80% of Bama fans are going to HATE whoever gets hired to replace Saban and 10-2 or 9-3 or 8-4 are not going to go over well at Bama. 😮😮 But the guy that follows the guy that replaces Saban is a much better position to be in whoever he is good luck. 😮😮

I fully understand the dynasty is over and that Alabama is about to be awful. You can’t replace the GOAT… but you have to anyway.

Cole, why isn't Dabo at or near the top of your list? Experience, Titles and an alum. Would also be able to keep the power brokers at an arm's length. The guy would crawl over broken glass from Clemson to Tuscaloosa. What more could Alabama want?

Because dabo has been unwilling to change. He refused to use the transfer portal and nil. Just check Clemson fans message boards. In today's game u can't do that and win. There targeting Dan lanning

@@ARMY-ep6fz Interesting. I believe Dabo, regardless if he's at Clemson or Alabama, would have to adapt to NIL and the transfer portal. The guy is a winner and would be loyal till he retires. IMO, he would be a slam dunk hire.
