Finebaum is both smart and an idiot for challenging the King of College Football anyhow. Finebaum is a flea of a man compared to Saban (as most of us are if we're honest). Now he's smart because Finebaum has become wealthy/famous for stirring the pot.. bickering with Nick Saban on national TV will do that. But Saban is usually going to win lol..

First semester UA student and fan since the 90’s and 00’s back when we sucked (26 now) and was 14 turning 15 January 2010 for 2009 season when Nick Saban won us our first National Championship in my lifetime. “That’s the end of the conversation” he’s a beast love him. I hope he coaches another decade at least 2028-2029. Congratulations on beating Ohio State “hate them” winning y’all’s first ever Big 10 Championship Game as well as first appearance, and first CFP berth this is the best y’all been in a long time if not ever. Sadly y’all only beaten Ohio State 7 times since my 1995 birth. Hope y’all beat them in Columbus next year!!!! We played January 2020 for 2019 season and funny if we both win our semi finals we could play twice in 4 years. We barely lead overall series 3-2 3-1 in my lifetime as the first game was 1988 before I was born. We are 2-0 in Saban Era. I hope Utah beats Ohio State like they did Oregon twice I hate teams that are extremely cocky and talk ish about Alabama but lose or win against 2 win Colorado’s like Oregon (Colorado is my 3rd favorite in Pac 12 after USC and Washington but let’s face it they usually suck). I hope y’all start a decade winning streak against Ohio State Trasheyes!!!

@@allend807 he flip flops with Alabama before Georgia he gave us 0 chance to beat 1 “nobody in our endzone” Georgia then we win he’s back on the bandwagon and then when it’s decided we play Cinderella Cincinnati he hops back off it and talks trash. After this season I never want to se him on the Bama Bandwagon again cause he can never make up his mind we are 5-0 against Cincinnati our worst was by 16 points when we won 16-0 we even won the lone game played in Cincinnati. If Alabama plays like the Georgia game and Cincinnati plays like Tulsa and Navy both not even bowl eligible 2021 then the game will be over 1-2 quarter

I'm watching this from First Take and I don't see where Finebaum shut down Saban at all. I think the last word was Saban saying "end of the conversation" and that WAS the end of the conversation..lol

The dude is a beast. Having your players back like that... know wonder he gets the best and wins

I am a Michigan fan and I don't like Alabama but I like Nick Saban a lot!!! One thing I have noticed about some college football coaches is that they don't know how to stand up to the media in defense of their players. Saban, on the other hand, does a great job of standing up to the media in defense of his players. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Saban!!!

Paul Finebaum makes it a habit of overthrowing and undermining the authority of his superiors and the executives @ #ESPN and #SECNetwork. Has just like I’m to old for this shit try that mess on the younger coaches who will put up with it. For the longest time I didn’t know he was as old as he is. He was like 55 when he first started 2007 looked like late 20’s to 30’s and now he’s 70 and looks 50’s or 60’s (mainly all the hair he lost by pulling it whenever Alabama made a bad play). To this day he runs laps over coaches young enough to be his sons and looks half his age. Hope we have him for another decade we are least keep him until 2028-2029. We have a home and home with many teams 2022-2035 including Ohio State I’d like to see us play home and home with Michigan especially during Saban Era all but 1 was bowl games and the 1 was season opener on a neutral field in 2012. I’d like to play y’all in Ann Arbor and or Tuscaloosa that would be great two historic football teams. The 2020 (2019 season) game was scary at first before we broke away and won 35-16 but I remember it was close in the beginning cause I was scared of the second loss in my lifetime and first since I was 4 turning 5 that summer on January 1 2000 and thankfully we pulled away for the win. Michigan has had an amazing year this year beating Ohio State first time 10 years since 2011 8 games didn’t play 2020 winning first ever (and appearance) in Big 10 Championship Game and first CFP that’s incredible!!! Please start a winning streak with Ohio State hate them!!!

Watching some of his other interviews Saban has a very progressive view on criminal justice. The media is fast to throw the book at these 18-20 year olds and ruin the rest of their lives in the process (kick them out of the university, send them to prison). Saban has defended his players and gotten them second chances, kept them in school, and put them in the position to succeed after college.

Watching this post retirement... Man he was good. He was so good. There are so many other stories like this one. All he wanted for his players was to succeed in life, and give them the best opportunities to do so.

Leave Saban alone dude! He’s a very wise man!!!!

Boom Saban Drops the Mic. THIS is not why players COME to Alabama, but it's why they love Saban and will do anything for that man when they leave / graduate / go to NFL. Saban does anything for his players.. as has been shown many times over and 999 times out of 1,000 he wins any 'battle' with the media big or small and others. He's the greatest coach of all time in collegiate football and arguably among the greatest coaches of all time in any sport on any level. He's been consistent in how he carries himself and what he stands for. When is the last time you've heard of Nick Saban doing something wrong/against the rules etc? Just like Reuben Foster going to the NFL and his issues.. Saban stuck up for Reuben (and look what Reuben did in his first year) -- he sticks up for Cam Robinson here and continually has his players backs over anything/anyone else -- Short of egregious heinous acts of course.

Finebaum is a fan of Clemson but mainly he has a boy crush on Dumbo Swinney! He’ll do anything to battle with Saban so Dumbo looks like a greater coach! This year Dumbo has a team to play that’s better then his guys and that makes Finebaum nervous because he moved to N.C.To be near the guy he’s nuts about! I don’t think they do anything but practice all year to beat Alabama and copy as much as they can when playing other ACC teams. But this year along came Notre Dame with a great team! Wow Dumbo didn’t expect that! I can’t like someone who pretends to be everyone’s good ole boy friend when all I see him do is pump for information! Dance with your creepy team all you want and stay away from other teams and their coaches! Especially Saban!

UGA fan here, but Saban is such a badass.

As a Georgia fan, one thing I personally know about Nick Saban is that he don't give special treatment to players. He will kick a 5 star off his team just as quick as he would a walk on. That is a huge part of his and Coach Belicheck's success. Their superstars don't get too comfortable and think they are bigger than the team.

This has to be something that they send to possible recruits like how can you not respect a man that has entirely stuck to the process wither it's on the field or in life.
