Exactly why Nick called her right away. Nick, Rosalee, Monroe, Juliette, not a single one of them cared about the priceless egg, all they cared about was the woman's wellbeing.

This has got to be one of the most amazing yet disturbing scenes of the entire show. PLEASE either renew it or make a that spinoff. (Teen Wolf is about to have both so why can’t Grimm?)

Because somebody destroyed Portland. That's why I keep rewatching the first season, they really show off Portland and surrounding areas that are so colorful. Especially downtown I thought that was a nice looking little town. They won't ever get that back.

What weird stuff? The show was weird that's what made it so good 👍 I do gotta say the wesen were very bizarre and well yeah bizarre hehe but the plot was super good was sad it didn't keep going at least we have 6 seasons.

The first two seasons of this show especially this first season were just gold

this show was imaginative,cultural and interesting to watch it took chances and i feel they ended it too early! i wish they would come back this show has so much to give!

I'm rewatching Grimm now because it's better than anything current and this was the episode I just watched. So amazing

i like that they dont just shoot every wese they see, just the dangerous ones

I wish nick had kept it so that he could have used it for maybe for ancient potions or spells maybe that's why it was so valuable.

​@@NikkiSuperWhy should he? He's right; this show IS better than Supernatural. Supernatural had TERRIBLE writing and a lot of stuff made no sense, whereas here it's not hard to make sense of everything as long as you're watching it all in context.

This was a great series would like to see a sequel with his son

My guess is that the way the egg is made is by some gland seperates the gold particles that get inside her (food, air, theres technically eveeything everywhere) and compacts it all together. I bet that when it shatters 90% of it is so fine a dust you cant even collect it. My guess is your supposed to melt it down into useable gold

Sooo... If it's mostly gold why would breaking it ruin the value? They want it for the gold not the shape no? Or is it magical gold that disappears if it's broken? Cuz that doesnt sound like gold or something very valuable outside of collectors.

I think it was some kind of Philosophical Stone, it was an ingredient for a long life potion i think

It was supposed to be made mostly of gold it not gold dust worth money

in order to make an omlette you have to break some eggs was the stated domestic and foreign policy of stalin ..of the gulags.

I hated this episode. So instead of selling it and getting her some money they break it. The writers got lazy with this show.

I loved the show until Juliette turned, what a dumb storyline. Oh and I hated Trouble
