Well what else can they do? Like Hank said you can't arrest a tree and they have no idea what would happen if they tried to chop it down. Best to just leave it alone.

@@ariadnefrolich7243 The tree is already down. The best bet would be to get a couple of chainsaws, see if Bud knew any landscapers tp supervise tearing apart a tree. Once it is in pieces they get a wood Grinder and turn it into sawdust.

The creature hey killed is gone. The other tree absorbed it just like the other bodies. They should talk to the fish and game people about making t the area hat one tree off limits, maybe 100 ft. area. This is their jurisdiction. If that tree is dead it should be marked for removal and let them handle it.

Had this clip ran just a little bit longer , we would have seen Monroe and Rosalee climbing into bed and looking at their ceiling . We would have then seen the knots in the wood that look like a face and Monroe says , " No . It couldn't be , that's Pine " . Rosalee then says ," Maybe we should paint the ceiling " .

At the end when that tree open it's eyes and look at them while they're driving away and probably think "I'll be back" then Terminator music starts playing... lol

Talk about running away. The tree was probably embarrassed for them.

Felt like the episode was full of it...we didn't learn anything about the overall storyline, and this feels like the beginning of an early season, not the countdown to the END of the freaking show...and it's "epic finale"The only reason I'm even watching is because we've come so far, why stop now...

It would also be dangerous, she would need an axe or chainsaw to cut the tree down. Nick should report that tree to the forest service for removal. They have jurisdiction. Nick might want to borrow weapons from CERT for Hank, Wu, and himself. Let the captain worry about explaining things.
