+Nick Johnston Hey Nick, in the video its mentioned part 2: Remarkably Human Where is part 1 ??
Nick Johnston tunes always sound really familiar. Like I've heard it a long time ago, but then forgotten it. Brings back memories that don't exist. Weird.

I listened to the whole new album on a recent road trip. I was jamming it super loud driving through Mt. Shasta in the middle of the night and it was perfect. It vibed me out so hard and I really connected with it. Brilliant album dude. Proud to be a part of your journey!

You just close your eyes and play man. You play through the wrong notes until your mind, muscles, and soul connect.
I just discovered his music. So melodic, already one of my favorite players!
The true beauty of music is that it is a language which requires no words. Always nice to hear "unexpected" notes in your playing that change the mood immediately. I absolutely adore your playing and songwriting!
as a guitarist, just want to remind everyone that he's only making it look really easy... the amount of texture and tone that he adds into his playing is remarkable
Lovely track man - really enjoyed this :-) Really enjoyed the melodies and your phrasing man, best of luck with the release!

I love this song..so i keep coming here to listen to this amazing piece..& for sum reason the starting tune of this song always reminds me of Michael Keaton 1989 Batman theme..
harmonic and melodic feel is off the grid!
I'm so glad Tim Minchin finally learned to play guitar. It's the closure we needed to the song "Rock and Roll Nerd."
i wonder why nick johnston is not famous like other great musicians. he is unique and a great plyer

Probably the most impressive guitar performance since Vai's Passion & Warfare album. This song has absolutely all!!! 👌🔥👌🔥👌🔥
I don't hear a sound, I just hear a mind and soul speaking. Talking simple but powerful. never doubt it.
One of the best strat sound i've heard in a while. Incredible job, Nick!
That tone, that feel, everything is incredible about this song, one of my favorite instrumental songs ever!
An absolutely beautiful melody, can't wait for more!
You are an incredible and a very expressive guitar player Nick.. The melody has been stuck in my head for a few days now
What I love about nick unlike other guitarist is he doesn’t rush into solos. He takes it slowly and pulls it off
Just when I thought I just can't find any new interesting music anymore and then I stumble across this! My god, this is so perfect in every way!
Can't get enough of saying how awesome this is
Damn that was really impressive! I love the tone, the tempo changes, the progressions and the vibe. You have a God given set of skills that can't be taught! Rock on!
Been watching you for quite a while now and it just keeps getting better and better. Definitely one of my favorite guitarists today \m/
All the musicianship, none of the wankery. I'm a new fan.
That is the absolute best piece of music I have heard in a long time.
I just cannot stop listening this song.. really fantastic. I love when you playing with transitions of tonalities.. really sounds magically and interesting. Thank you for the great music :)
This song hits right in the spot! Definitely one of my tops.
Um..that's one of the best solos I've ever heard. The swapping between dark and light is so flawless. Go nick!
It's everything you expect from this gentleman, and even more :) Beautiful melodies, great tone, and unmistakably Nick's slippery licks.
I had this song in my soul for years ...thank you for releasing it \m/
Nick.. this is one of the most beautiful human emotion I have ever heard.

I can't get this solo out of my head! Day or night, it is always playing inside my head.
It's pure beauty,I can sing the whole song with your playing. All the tracks from this album are absolutely gems. Always a fan of your musicality.
this surely will become a classic for future guitarists. bless you nick, this is just incredible.
Never heard of this guy before (and his songs), just recently went to his guitar clinic and now a fan :D
Can’t believe I’ve only just heard this and now it’s playing constantly. Binge listening to nick to catch up. What a incredible musician. Love it.
breathing new life into blues, and rock. this is incredible, thank you so much for your hard work. you deserve it man
Your tone and phrasing are addictive. Great job Nick!
Amazing. Totally beautiful. This gets me going in the mornings and perfect to study to. I'm definitely buying your albums from your website.

Very good! I really like your style, feeling and compositions.
One hell of a guitar player... so influential music.. thank u nick
Amazing! Wonderfull! Great piece of art, you have such incredible musical expression! Nice to meet you Nick
This song has everything to make it a true masterpiece. Great audio recording quality A catchy chorus/melody Unique & fresh ideas for solos & licks Great overall band tightness And so much more This song actually inspired me to learn this amazing tune by ear. And I will make a tab in case there is not one already Cheers
Great song ! The recording work is one of the best I think I've ever heard
Just discovered Nick, I was lost on trying to play the solos so I bought the book he tabbed, right on the money, just about have it, Great Playing Nick!
BEAUTIFUL! I love how the really great progression and your unique note choices made my ears perk up through the whole song. Great playing, really great style, and it's so melodic that a non-musician can enjoy it but it also speaks to my musician ears and stays fresh the whole time.
Excelente músico, tiene una gran identidad y creatividad. No me canso de escucharlo.
Beautiful melody and playing. Love the twists and turns in this one. Really looking forward to the album.

I love this song it’s so beautifully played and composed. This song was the first I ever heard by you and I have all of your music now. You’re one of the most inspirational guitarists I’ve ever heard in my life.
This track and album have literally blown my head clean off my shoulders. Amazing.
Never heard this guy before! He's awesome :)
that's a great composition. maturity in his melodic discourse and with ordered cadences. I like it
Absolutely love this album!
This is really amazing ; so much emotion it's great.
I read Nick's album description for this one and I'm 100% hyped now. Atomic Mind, while a brilliant exhibition of guitar talent and musicianship, overall wasn't my cup of tea, it just dabbled in too many genres I don't really listen to and I could never get into it. I first heard the track "Atomic Mind" and it blew me away, so when I went to the rest of the album looking for more, it was almost like getting blindsided. But seeing that Nick realized this and changed focus for this new album has me all pumped up. I hope we get more of this moody soundtrack style stuff.
Hey Nick, This should be the theme for the next James Bond Movie....Excellent
Those vibratos not only sound beautiful but they look extraordinary while they're played!
beautiful melody and tone....great Nick!
3:35 Love that chord progression... so smooth ! haha Great song , can"t wait for the album to be released !
@angelloperez7273

That is actually a very common chord progression. He could have done a better one. The melody is good and blends many moods though.
Full of emotion! My kind of instrumental, great job man! :)
One of the most beautiful solos I ever heard. So well composed.
Nick thanks U teached me again to listen good to guitar music... Just another maestro in my collection fantastic !!!
Some of the most beautifully lyrical playing I've ever heard! Just listened to your newest album last night. Man we're in a golden age of instrumental guitar music right now. Not just talented playing, but amazing composition as well

Very true about golden age. Have you heard of Ichika? He's not as expressive or emotive has Nick Johnston, but he's even more technically skilled, and creates some of the most beautiful guitar music I've ever heard.

@@grantdraus7449 i have indeed. My tastes are everywhere lately. Being stuck home sick for months has exposed me to so much great music
I'm making a huge ear training progress learning this album songs by ear. Also, sorry for any grammatical errors and greetings from Brazil !
One of the best instrumentals I've listened in a decade. Nick you are truly unique ❤❤
I've just discovered your art Nick...this song has been in heavy rotation for the last few days...thank you.
Cliff Burton is reborn and plays guitar
This song has the same melodic timbre as Dream Theater's "The Best of Times" from Black Clouds and Silver Linings.
One of the first songs to give me the goosebumps in years and amazingly it's totally instrumental. So so good! Can't stop listening
This is intense, this is satisfying, this is the kind of music that moves my heart. ❤️ Love your work, Nick.
Every time he plays the main melody, I keep expecting him to start play the Best of Times solo.
It bothers me that when I type "Nick Johnson" in KZread search bar that he isn't the first thing that shows up. He is obviously the best Nick Johnson! Why KZread!

incredible....everyday anthem!! this is so weird and so amazing!! this music makes me ponder over so many things!!
DOPE!
so many thoughts while i watch this: 1) mikael akerfeldt used to be my favorite guitarist.. used to be.. 2) holy cow he's got the best vibrato ever 3) if this isn't djent i don't know what is, it's heavier than any of that trendy hot topic djent i hear on KZread 4) i'm learning that chord progression for the middle solo
@JT-gm4fk
3 жыл бұрын
This is not djent...it's melodic . It's more in line with 80s guitar solos and riffs. Djent is deep fast thick metal

I wouldn't call this gent at all. It's more oriented to the great ones, Vai, Gowan, etc. It is a masterpiece indeed.
Superb as usual Nick, so understated, a true sense of melody.
WOW! This tune just made my day. What melodic mastery. Thank you Nick.
I have been racking my brain to accurately describe how good your guitar playing is. How about this: Take DNA samples of Paul Gilbert and Gary Moore and you will be close to getting Nick Johnston!
@SiddharthKarunakaran

Yeah but DNA produces human beings. Human beings PRACTICING produces guitarists...
if you could join animals as leaders plini and intervals on their next north American tour that would be a dream come true
Thank you for bringing back the melodies… brilliant and heartfelt
Love the subtle bends and pinches. They make my heart stop ;-)
