Done, and done! This song speaks to me because I have a mental illness and winter does weaken me, this song just gives me the right emotion. I don't know how to explain it other than awesome!

How can you hate this. It’s melodic. Has plenty of technique for all the shred fans out there. It’s progressive, yet touches your soul. “remarkably human” really is the perfect title.

When you play the guitar like this, you don't need a singer.
There is not a single word in this song, but I feel that it told me a complete story, a lot of emotions and the feeling it brings me is euphoria
close my eyes and imagine I'm playing
I didn’t know anything about Nick Johnston until I stumbled across his Schecter signature guitar. Bought the guitar, and now I am a huge fan of him.
I just can't find this kind of soul in most modern players anymore...so beautifully done.

Theres absolutely no denying Mr. Govans skills, he's got some sick grooves. Definitely one of, if not the best guitar player, but Nick speaks so much more to me. Especially in this last album. Different folks, different strokes, its all good either way

Even if he never played guitar, the compositions and song structure is outwardly. We haven't heard such profound music for a long long time. Breathtaking. You don't need to be able to follow all the notes to love this. This is almost like the best pop album ever the melodies are that strong

Applause for NICK!
To those who might not know, Nick can easily shred like Tosin Abasi or Jason Richardson. But the level of restraint you hear on this piece and throughout his music in order to serve the melody makes him IMO one of the greatest guitar players. It's astonishing.

I actually hate shredder or whose the fastest guitar licks those players dont have souls to it they just wanna be whose the loudest and the fastest ???

Tosin Abasi absolutely should absolutely not be in the "shredder" category. That's such disrespect to him and the amount of creativity he has brought to the game.
@azathoz

Shredding is another resource when playing guitar and composing. Well used can be amazing. Overused or wrongly used can ruin a song. Those who hate it because "it has no soul" (really? Gowan, Vai, Satriani, Gilbert or Moore among many other have no soul then?) or consider it offensive should then stick to blues, jazz, pop or whatever the hell they usually listen to.
@DeathBringer769
3 жыл бұрын
@@monkas3968 One of his old screen names had something like "ShredGod" in it though at one point, to be fair, lol. Just because you can "shred" doesn't mean you don't have melody or creativity. I hate when people only use the word in that sense. Tosin can definitely shred melodically.

One of the best things about Nick. Knows when to shred and when to hang back. Does both perfectly
This guy is great. A guitar player who’s an actual songwriter first.

Defining the musicality of Nick Johnston is like thinking of an abstract work of art. His music gently walks the world of new age, jazz fusion and the most innovative sound proofing today. Nick in this magnificent work synthesizes an avalanche of feelings and senses aimed at a new insight that makes the listener reflect and disconnect from a world so empty and devoid of beauty, so dear reader close your eyes and let Nick Johnston's music search the More beautiful places of his musical soul, for music is life and it seems to me that our friend Nick Johnston understands this very well. Congratulations Nick Johnston from Sao Paulo Brazil.
The more times I listen to the album the more I become obsessed
Probably the most beautiful instrumental song I've heard the last decade.
You can tell he's a great guitarist even though he doesnt shred a lot. Technique - 10. Music - 10. Strings - 6. Soul - 10.

Holy fuck man, this is music in it's purest form. You will remembered forever as one of the truly genius musicians of our time
That song is BEAUTIFUL
He doesn't need overly impressive and complicated shred licks. He has soul and executes each note perfectly. Plus this dude is one of the most humble and down to earth guitarists ever.
Restrain and spacing is an art.
Канадский стиль:"не спрячишь и не скроешь"! Молодчага и умничка!
this is one of the example of classical music or neo-classical music evolution improvised and hosted by the millenial era. I'm proud to be one of this generation but classical music never dies and it remains forever. rock'n roll!
just perfect.
100% the modern heir to Satriani. Incredilbly melodic and beautiful playing.

Agree with so many of the comments below. This album is full of ultra tasteful melodic playing and such dynamic control. Such an articulate and nuanced guitarist.

This guy has a master mind in composing this kinda chord circles...and he plays every single note with his soul.....and the tone is over perfection....
Only recently discovered this song, instantly a favourite- so beautifully dynamic and moving
There is no such thing as perfection, but man does this come close!
Love the feeling you transmit with your songs. Simply amazing. One of the best guitar players ever
Your music has a story to say. It's the most beautiful thing that I've hear the last years.

Thanks Nick. Your music is appreciated here in South Africa. My favourite song on the album
Nick, thank you for taking us to this fabulous job.
It makes me kinda chuckle, after hearing Nick say the solo for this song frustrated him so much that he HAD to finish it with that long blitzkrieg of notes at the end I listened to it thinking about that. He did a really awesome job with that solo, and when he couldn’t take it anymore he blasted those last few bars and it actually sounds cathartic.
One of the best instrumental guitar-based songs I’ve ever heard. Your phrasing and chord progressions always blow me away
Wow i am really glad i came across such a timeless melody
Playing an instrument is one thing, expressing yourself through it is a completely different thing. Thanks Nick for sharing your creativity with us
Algo-comment, because everyone needs to hear this.
True talent and taste right here man. Such a distinct style he has. U can immediately tell its Nick Johnston. Phenomenal!
He's a Prophet
the tone is wonderful
Great song. Nick doesnt strike me as a virtuoso, but his compositional skills are second to none.
Nick Johnston, Remarkably The Best.
Easily one of the best players on the planet.
This album deserved a grammy along side eric johnson s ah via musicom among others. This should have at least been the instrumental song of the year
Definitely my favorite song from remarkably human, hell, I love the whole album, but this one just happens to be my favorite.
His melodies are really memorable, really taking the place of a singer here. Listening to this reminds me of how I first felt listening to Joe Satriani.

so much expression ,depth and emotion im hooked
