People love to hate on Sir Nick for the occasional gaffe or stumble, but he is truly one of the best to ever do it. Nobody else has his combination of wins on the course and experience in the booth. He's been in the tower longer than I've been watching golf. He knows the game inside out and his love of the game shines through in the broadcast. He will be missed.

When I was in middle school, on vacation in Orlando, I went to play golf with my Dad at Nick Faldo's course at the Grand Vista Resort (golf course isn't named after him anymore), when we showed up, Nick was actually practicing on the putting green. My Dad grab a scorecard, handed it to me and said, "THAT'S Nick Faldo! Go over and ask for his autograph!", I did and Nick couldn't have been any nicer. I have a very nice framed autographed scorecard from him: "To Tom, Best Wishes, Nick Faldo"

Sad to see you hang it up Nick. But what a blessing/treat it was to hear and see you on tv during many of golf’s greatest moments. You will surely be missed but deserve everything you want going forward. Cheers to more time with family and for all the memories.

The only thing that is ridiculous about this whole thing is the players refusing to acknowledge that they are leaving because of money.

But that's why they're wondering 'what the long term goal' is -- they have unlimited money and can easily fit as many as they want, increase the purse size, add more events, change it to a normal hole #1 and #10 start. He said it himself - there are other things he wants to do and other interests and they don’t align. How many guys Nick’s age are twice or thrice divorced? How many guys missed their kids entire lives? Very interesting and so ironic to my that he literally says the same thing the LIV guys are saying but doesn’t make the connection. Or Lee Tervino, Hebert Green, how does the golf word think about one of the best major competitors in Larry Nelson that dominated in majors and ryder cups..but never was asked to be a Captain. How does the world view Hale Irwin, Curtis Strange? I could keep going... The PGA tour F'D up and didnt meet with LIV, and now the event in Portland has more "MAJOR" winners tahn the even in Iowa..so if what you said is correct, the 54 hole event has more star power than the ho hum event in Iowa.

lol liv golf is literally unwatchable -- I couldn't care less who leaves the PGA tour for LIV. They weren't playing competitive golf and are no longer in contention on the final day of a major. So, good riddance. Brooks Koepka is now a youtuber.

With the depth of talent today, winning multiple majors like Jack or Tiger is out of reach. If simply winning tournaments isn't motivating enough, then it's about the money. If that's the case, young players should go wherever they can cash in. It's a business.

They didn't kill the guy, they didn't participate in it. The US Gov participated in it by keeping complicity silent about it, as a government. Golf players aren't politicians, nor governments. Why do golf players have to share your beliefs? Who the fuck are you? Leave ppl the fuck alone. Like Collin Morikawa said, people don't know WTF is going on behind closed doors and are just gossiping and talking out of their asses.
