In interviews, Nick talks about the long, dogged craftsmanship of snatching an idea from the ether and slowly beating it into shape. Here is a beautiful capture of the slow process, and you can tell those little ideas are being beaten like Damascus steel, into this beautiful sword of flexible force and edge. Lovely watching their creative process. Can't wait for the the Wild God release.

No wonder I was late and did not go to bed as usual,because I managed to see this masterpiece just 6 hours after publication,and I don't regret it! Thank you very much Mr.Cave and Bad Seeds guys! it's realy beautiful) P.S.I see,being in a psycho-clinic,the world has gone crazy and the only way to survive among this is to resort to acting on your own!

YES! My fiancee and I have decided that we absolutely MUST get to a show on this tour. Some transcendent and sacred musical communion is juuust the ticket and I'm sure that's exactly what will occur. Never have seen you guys and I feel that needs to be remedied. Thanks for all the great work and I do hope you'll be around Illinois for the US leg of the tour.

Agreed. I saw 2 shows on the 'Push the Sky Away' tour. Los Angeles (The Shrine) & San Diego (unbelievable). The San Diego "Dig Lazarus Dig" gig was out of this world. My 1st Cave show was the 1994 Lalapalooza show at Aztec Bowl with George Clinton, Tribe Called Quest, Breeders, & THE BEASTIE BOYS!!!! I was on the perfect amount of mushrooms. The BB closer was a once in a lifetime experience. They were so on in 1994. I drove back down to my hometown from Humboldt to see my 1 & only Palooza show. A 13 hour drive. I wish in the worst way I'd seen an 'Abbattoir Blues' /'Lyre of Orpheus' show. That's easily my favorite recording of his. It's perfect in every way.

What's that tiny keyboard that Warren is using? I always thought the microkog was his go to key in the studio? Seems like a Yamaha reface would be it but it's something more toy-ish. But damn I bet this is going to be one bad ass album and not over produced?

Apparently Casey is unwell, hence Colin Greenwood. And Thomas Wydler recovered and returned so perhaps no need for 2nd drummer Sclavunos.

I love NC & TBS but I'm not enjoying this current phase with NC & WE, an indulgent downer. Skeleton Tree was their last great album for me.. On the other hand The Dirty 3s latest singles are great.

He really is. He's the worst thing to happen to the Bad Seeds after Mick and Blixa left. Awful mediocre synth pad dullness. He's made the group four square and actually drags down any potentially interesting songs with his dull approach. I'm hoping this album will be better than anything post DLD but I doubt it. And I never liked when they've used gospel singers, the group used to sound like a delinquent, unholy choir when Mick, Blixa and Conway sung backing vocals. Ellis hasn't pushed the music in any good direction since he assumed right hand man status.

I was just wondering that myself. He used to put me on the guest list everytime in California . If he goes I'm going to have a hard time saying Bad Seeds. Although George is great and Warren? Well he's Warren.

@joshjuanfifarek7382 The Bad Seeds evolve, but Marty has been in the band 30+ years, and his bass has guided many a great song. Loved him In the Triffids too. He's the coolest bass player on the planet 🚬🎸😎

I love that Warren Ellis can afford literally any synthesizer on the planet, and he still rocks the Roland JDXI and a Yamaha Reface. Just shows cheap gear can do great things.

I wanna record in that studio, looks and sounds amazing.

This album sounds so great I might even buy it and not download it. Nick has earnt it and great quality hair dye isnt cheap.

I always buy the physical stuff from Nick Cave (+ a few others) and I haven't even got a CD player 😂 At least I can rip a lossless version.
