Ghosteen was the soundtrack to my life when I went through the most difficult period of my life i ever went through, right before the pandemic started. I've felt so deeply touched by it and it helped me process the enormous energies that went through me at that time. I still get chills whenever I hear any of the songs... They can't really be separated from each other either... A unity of spirituality and catharsis... I also want to add that I strongly feel that sense of resonance and spiritual connection to Nick's older work... If you've never seen Der Himmel Über Berlin, I highly recommend it, so you can hear Nick sing From Her to Eternity. It's magical....

Being in disbelief and lost searching for meaning after traumatic experiences is simply to be human but you must keep trying even the odds are stacked against you.

Here in my studio, painting dark and mysterious things, it was a pleasure to hang out with you both in such a profound conversation. Thank you for the beauty.

I want to see- is your work online?

As a bereved father I understand and empathise so much with what's being said here. I've sought help but have found 'councellors' just dont get it unless they've 'been there' and experienced the path similar to mine before and after the death. Destroying, 'obliterating'.

I relate. My son passed away in 2014 & not many people can go to the depths of this with you. It's a very isolating experience

I have always, always made time to listen to NC. I have recognized that within the body of work and growth he has emanated upon us.. that through this I believe he has tapped into something that we can understand about grief and about ourselves. An interchange to be able to accept this transformation and all that it entails. It is very powerful and maybe my view of this is biased because he is a musician and all my best loves and friends are songs. His honesty and simplistic explanation to the conception of Ghosteeen is thee best communion he has shared with us (in my opinion) .
