Where was Blackwell’s, corner, family, and referee? He was beaten to a pulp. Surely somebody could have stopped the fight much earlier.

Eubank was not showboating as the commentators stated.. He was trying to get the ref to stop the fight..

If Eubank Jr had continued boxing like this and kept his dad in his corner, he'd have a genuine world middleweight title in his possession by now. This fight essentially ended Blackwell's career and he was further injured in a silly attempt at sparring after suffering a brain injury and undergoing surgery in this bout. Brutal contest, but, thanks for uploading.

If he hadn't sparred with a light heavyweight after his first brain injury, he'd have been 100% back to normal; as it is and after the second brain injury he's 75-80% there. Shows you how cruel boxing can be - you give it your life and it almost takes it...

I've watched this fight for many many years. Just keep coming back to it. I think it's so awesome how that uppercut keeps splatting. It's more in Blackwells head snaps back and then forward again. Great boxing. He should have launched some offense of his own but if it was just content to stand there and shell up and just be a punching bag, he deserved it

Blackwell's team shouldn't be allowed to corner another fighter again. A boxer is sometimes too brave for their own good, and the job of the team is to step in when the punishment is too much, or the gulf in skill is beyond that of their fighter. They literally ended the career of Blackwell and nearly contributed to him being on a slab.

I heard on the Simon Jordan podcast with Eubank sr that before the contest Fury and Saunders were in the dressing room trying to intimidate Jr. So when the commentator said it was unnecessary taunting from Jr maybe this explains why

Holy hell Blackwell is tough as an ox he took one of the worst beatings I’ve ever seen and even as the doctor stopped it he looked relatively cognitive and aware never mind the fact that he didn’t even go down. Eubanks cardio as well was insanely impressive when he had multiple instances where he really upped it to try and get a finish and also maintained his explosiveness the entire time.

Blackwell was always a tough fighter. It wasn’t as one sided as the highlights show apart from the last couple of rounds

Aside from the stuff he did on camera (offering a drug addict crack out of the window of his car if she punches a passerby, before driving off after she punched the man, also uploading a video demonstrating how to beat your wife) which got him suspended by the BBBoC, he also used to (and probably still does) go out in his Range Rover and run over people's pets that he saw out and about. I don’t say this lightly. He's a disgusting person and it’s shameful he’s been allowed to make the money he has in boxing. Despicable human being. So glad he got his face shattered by Canelo. He’s also a massive slob now he’s retired, been spotted smoking cigarettes and drinking red bull outside corner shops hahahaha. Good riddance.

Glad Blackwell recovered from the fight but the way he conducted himself in the build up to the fight and just before the first bell was sad and pathetic. Was acting like a 12 year old with Fury and BJS egging him on.

​​@@BeatenBadlyBoxinghe kept his hands up but that doesn't stop the impact of the punches & damage done, so he didn't really defend himself very well,.defending well would of been using head movement and foot work to avoid shots completely but that never happened and with two brain injuries that proves these punches were damaging him, it's the referees Job too stop the fight when he feels there is too much damage and no chance of a come back, he wasn't really fighting back for long periods, that would of been enough for me too call the fight, I think the referee could of saved his career if he called it earlier, that's just my opinion though.
