Amazing tough training!!!
Props to the partner. Spending an undetermined amount of time working mount positional rounds with Meregali is a daunting task. But at least it's not Big Dan!
Anyone else tripping about Danaher being able to be on both sides of the mat at once?
My lahd..that pressure
More Meregali contents. 🙏
John danaher is the wizard! Exactly as he described in his instructionals! ❤

It might look goofy, but damn if it isn’t effective.
Muito superior, mas convenhamos, ter 2 metros de perna ajuda um pouco kkkkk 5:40 fechar um triângulo invertido num cara largo como o Bracher n depende só de técnica
You should fight without gees.
He is taking roids too ?

Seems like it.. he’s training with Gordon and he quit competing in ibjjf where they test.
1:30 you would think a blackbelt would know to push on the hips at the centre of gravity not upwards on a belt that can move around 😕

A little "inside info" I recently gleaned: every round at New Wave, whether positional (which they do a ton of) or live go, starts and stops at JD's discretion. There is no clock. If you've ever trained with no round clock, then you know how mentally challenging that can be. Considering that this was the last 9-ish minutes of the round, I can only imagine how tired Meregali's partner was.

I remember making comments like this when I was a white belt too. It's okay, you are forgiven.
