I "won" $1000 from Niche. However, they want a copy of my ID or BC, my bank account info for a deposit and a W-9 with my SS#. I am trying to decide if the reward is worth the risk of THAT much of my personal info being held by this company. I am kind of not feeling it and think I will decline. It could cost so much more money and headache if my info gets stolen in a hack or sold. :/ I wish they would just issue it to my school in my name and send me some confirmation that the school got the money. Feels just weird.

Local scholarships refer to scholarships that are offered by your local town, city, county, or state organizations. These organizations usually limit applicants to those students who reside in those areas. This reduces the number of applicants who apply to these scholarships, making your chances of winning higher.

I've tried searching for "local scholarships" in many different forms and manners and all I got was a bunch of "no essay scholarships". Kinda overwhelming how there's so much "easy" scholarships in my web results 😅

@@biancachavez4309 I felt a lil fishy so I didn’t accept It since they wanted more info out of me. I got enough grants n scholarship to pay for my school n get a refund check so I didn’t wanna risk it. If I didn’t have those I would’ve for sure proceeded and tried to get the money !
