@guilerms ive competed in boxing and trained muay thai for many years, and this is 10x safer than those. Mainly cus the 16lb helmet sits on your shoulders so the impact goes to your neck rather than your chin or your brain. Definitely taken more damage in light-medium sparring in boxing/muaythai. Long story short; the armor works

Mostly safer cus you dont get cracked on the chin, or temple or get your nose broken. Heck you dont even get cauliflower ear

@guilerms aslong as the armor fits well that shouldnt be a problem. Most common injuries are knees and ankles from bad falls from wrestling. Lots of torn acl's in this sport. Its not without its danger, but the head trauma is alot safer than boxing or mma
