Your dumb, non-funny comment is on par with this dumb, non-funny film.
When it comes to Zasu Pitts plan to have a delightful hour! She was such a wonderful actress, this entire cast are excellent at silliness and fun! Love these movies!
Hal Roach's comedy has really stood the test of time.
This distinctive old film stars one of my favorite actors, *Slim Summerville,* who passed away just 4 years after this movie. Slim had such an endearing way about him; he could evoke sympathy from the most hardened viewer.
I'm new to Hal Roach!! It's so Excellent to still have Awesome Firsts left in 2023, at 57 years ancient. Thank Pizzaflix. You made my 4th of July FANTASTIC!!!
Love Hal roach movies!!! I’m loving this !!!!!
What wonderful fun this movie was! I smiled through the whole thing! Now my cheeks hurt!

Always love Zasu Pitts, and it's hard to believe she was the female lead in Stroheim's classic drama GREED (1924) and made it all the way to IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD (1963). There's also a brief appearance by Dave Willock as the busboy. He was one of the most recognizable character actors in film and tv for decades, appearing in sitcoms and dramas, mysteries and sci-fi, although many of his screen appearances (as in this film) went uncredited.

Thanks for the great shoutout to Dave Willock, 181 film and television appearances, not including radio shows and writing credits. At least he got a star on the Boulevard.

A warm and sentimental film from 1941. It's a lot of fun and an excellent comedy.
Sorry about commenting twice, but this is one of the most humorous, creative, and heartwarming films I've ever had the pleasure to have seen. *Thank you for offering such family-friendly movies!*

Another great movie lots of laughs. Thanks.
Very silly but enjoyable. Ended weirdly.
This is an AWESOME laugh out loud jewel of a comedy that gets funnier with each viewing :D
Thanx again, PizzaFlix! This was great! Since I adore Hal Roach comedies, I'm surprised this is the first time I'm seeing this one. When I saw the title, instantly I heard the late great Three Stooges saying 'Niagara Falls. Slooooowly I turned . . . ' Classic routine! This 'Niagara Falls' was such fun. Nice to see Zasu and Slim. They're always wonderful. This is a new favorite for me. 😊👍 Thank you thank you thank you!
Love these short features. Modern movies take most of your day to watch and are not nearly as entertaining!
Funniest film I've seen today. Well worth watching a second or even a few times when one might be feeling a little low.
Great, funny and relaxing movie! Thanks for posting
I watched Miss Polly before this and didn't like that, this is far better.

I love Tom Brown. thank you for the movie!!
In these old films people didn't speak up which caused the whole slap stick silliness. Never a down minute in this hilarious classic...👍

Thanks Pizza Flix! ❤👍This is hilarious ! Loved it !
Another one with Zasu and Slim. Tom Brown, Margorie W
@21:50. A bit of a contrived link between Producer Hal Roach and his leading stars Laurel and Hardy. The Honeymooning couple having dinner at the table are Margaret Roach, daughter of Hal Roach, and Rand Brooks, who later went on to marry Lois Laurel, daughter of Stan Laurel.
Love watching these olde romantic comedy’s,makes me laugh and cry at the same time!
I liked the movie it even made me laugh 👍📽🎬 🇺🇸 🇨🇷😄🤣🤣
Slim had the best line of the film at the very end~ "Too late!"
Just the kind of fun I needed. Very nice. Thank you.

Very Funny anyway I Don t like the Ending ironic
@653j521

How is it ironic? It is appropriate for slapstick. You end with a joke. It's like the two men carrying a plate glass window. You KNOW at some point window mayhem will ensue.
But the ending is not good.
Do you think that young couple will be happily married for a long time ?
@653j521

This is 1941 and in real life the actor flew off to WWII and Korea, as a paratrooper, and died of lung cancer at 77, and the actress died at 81 of undisclosed ailments, so I'd guess the characters would have done something similar. IMDB doesn't list marriages for her. He had two divorces, one before the military, one after, and three baby boom kids. My guess is their marriage wouldn't have survived the war. His second try ended when he was 40, so perhaps a bit like his character in thinking he did better unmarried.
I like many old movies but this one of Hal Roach was a real "Bomb".., stupid plot and a man threatening people with a gun is supposed to be funny?
