What do I do when it takes too long to fill?

Since this comment is 2 years old this will probably be for others. If the tank takes too long to fill then probably the device at the top of the tank needs to be replaced. The person who installed my worthless "tip bucket" toilet told me that was usually the thing that gave out first. It only lasted 4 years -- the device and the toilet itself.
