In those big attacks, don't go to all out defense prematurely because Gogo has Evade just like Sappy, and it doesn't last very long, so that is why Esther doesn't defend sometimes.

Don't worry Martyn, there's still more to do after you get the stones and defeat Shadar, so you still have time to find something to replace it. Here are a few games I think you might like: Tales of Graces, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World, Xenoblade Chronicles, and The Last Story. I don't think they're all JRPGs, but I played a bit of each one, and they are all good.

Metamorphose Strippy and Gogo! You can metamorphose Strippy into either a Dynamite or a Mermite, Dynamites have a higher Melee attack, but Mermites have a higher Def., also Mermites are the opposite of the regular Mite, being weak to fire, and strong against Water. It's mostly up to personal preference. With Gogo, Fluorongos are DEFINITELY much, much better of an evolution, without a doubt. The last stone Keeper is a double boss battle, and you should bring Storm and Fire damage! Good luck.

This game is sorta like Mass Effect in the way that the missions all seem like their own separate plots. That was one of my favorite things in Mass Effect 1.

Martyn you should tame a dinoceros fully metamorphosed they have the highest attack in the game and will do consistent hits in the 100s you can find them on the mounatins behind Lord Solomons castles and metmorphose it into a cat something... It is very op though...
