Agreed. My mom is a Habs fan, but doesn't know much about other teams (I have to give her info lol). She does know about Ovechkin and how good he is. Ovechkin just loves the game a lot. It's fun to watch him.

None of us know how lucky we are to have Ovi and Sid. They are insanely incredible guys, and next thing we know they'll be retired, which is soon, and that's pretty sad.

Matthews was at that game...... Matthews should be honored to be touted as the next Ovie.... even though he doesn't score quite as much doe to injuries. One thing he'll never do is score an iconic goal like that.

There will not be a more insanely better goal scorer than what Alex Ovechkin is. We are so lucky to get to see him, it's unbelievable!!!! As a Caps fan Since 98, they are so damn lucky to have him. The city loves him, the team, the fans, etc. You can't deny talent and what we all have gotten to witness with him. Only being 123 behind Gretzky is insane to comprehend!!!!

Especially in a salary cap era. Where goalies are better, defenders are better. Gretzky will always be number one.. but I want to see so I surpass the goal record

I feel like Malkin is missing from this video. The guy made just as many amazing plays as anyone else on this list.

Sometimes I think about how lucky we are to see these kinds of players. To grow up watching Sydney Crosby, who is unequivocally the best hockey player of his generation and now, is a great thing.

What a highlight reel of the best of the best. Love it

hes undoubtably the best goal scorer of all time but in terms of pure inteligence and passing i have to stick with gretzky. i know it was easier to score then but still almost 2000 asists? that is certainly saying something

Yes Crosby is a great defensive point producing power forward. But his hype is overdone at this point he’s been very stagnant.

Kane has more highlight reel goals than all the rest put together. Who has anything like the backhand, bad angle spin o rama that Kane has? The wicked wrister, the surprisingly (for a little guy) Hard and dead accurate top shelf slapper? The blind saucer pass right on the tape? Ovi, Crosby, McKinnon, and McDavid are all bigger and stronger, Kane does it with finesse.

Connor McDavid is so good it makes me want to watch hockey. Dude is so fast and talented.

My father and I went to our first road game with the Capitals and it was in NJ. We were at the game when the " dangleicious " happened. Some little S.O.B. runt behind me kept kicking my seat. Once Ovechkin did that; right in front of us, no less ; all was forgiven.

Pasta: Look at the goal I scored between my own legs Mcdavid: Same thing, but driving down the ice at 30mph while undressing 4 defenders.
