Gordie's stick from the game he played when he broke the all-time record was in the Hockey Hall of Fame until Marleau broke the record. The Howe family requested Gordie's stick be removed and replaced with Marleau's, and the Howe family gave Gordie's stick to Marleau as a present. Hockey: the classiest game on earth.

3:15 something similar happened in a Vegas vs Colorado game. Chandler Stephenson and Andre Burachovsky were hugging outside of a scrum

(lifelong San Jose Sharks fan here) Randy Hahn asks Marleau (after his last season) "Joe Pavelski is on the Dallas Stars, and Joe Thornton is on the Florida Panthers... If they play each other in the Stanley Cup this year who are you going to be rooting for?" Patrick Marleau - "I want Joe to win"

@@MV-rt4hy I’m tired of ads everywhere. The boards and commercials weren’t enough. Then the ice. Now more of the ice. Half the teams have those stupid ads on the glass that are the worst ones ever. Every goddamn power play or penalty kill is brought to you by some stupid thing. And now the final 5 minutes of a period is brought to you by something. Can we just leave the uniform alone? Or do you like all that stuff?
