i am so jealous of the kids and young adults who got to live in the 90's. no phones. people are happy. their style was super cool too.
Charles Barkley was right along. Youth hockey has grown in the city.

And now it’s being ripped away just like that
Unbelievable. GO JETS GO
28 years later they are moving to Utah
I was a part of this same 600 kid youth group at oceanside. I had just moved to the valley from Detroit 3 years prior. Really surreal watching this.
0:46 looks like Jeff Gordon
They are now moving to Salt Lake City🥲
Man I remember I was in middle school stoked for coyotes… sad they are moving
Highly embarrassing as an Arizona sports fan.

End of an error.
This video aged very well lol….. The coyotes are on the brink of being out of Arizona, and on to the next location . They can not even find a arena to play in. Phoenix, Arizona already gave the coyotes the boot.
Really hope the coyotes 2.0 works out
Hopefully they get another hockey team some day.
Did not think they were saying puck boys at the 2:53 mark lmao
Lol
😂

SO, how has THIS 'growth' worked out for you and the NHL, Mr. Bettman?!

pretty well, actually. the predators, golden knights etc. have all been successes and hockey has its own niche in the sun belt. shitty ownership doomed the yotes

@@FischerFan LA, Anaheim, Vegas, Dallas, Nashville, Carolina and Tampa have all been successes. Florida struggled for a while, but still here and stable after 30 years. Why have all these teams succeeded while Arizona and Atlanta didn't? It's because of ownership that didn't give a shit and sold at the first opportunity. Same reason why Canada lost just as many teams as the sun belt in the Bettman era. I guess the NHL has no business being in Canada either.

About the only thing that was good about the yotes are the jerseys.
It's time to face the facts that the NHL just didn't work out in Arizona. There's true hockey fans in Arizona, but not enough. Time to move on to Salt Lake City.

One of the biggest crimes ever committed by that weasel Gary Bettman, who did nothing to save the Jets and keep them in Winnipeg. Ever since he took over the NHL teams have relocated from traditional hockey markets like Winnipeg, Minnesota, Quebec, and Hartford to cities where hockey doesn't belong, most notably Phoenix/Glendale/Tempe, Dallas, and Raleigh.

Lotta AZ/Coyotes trolls in here. Not surprising though, and you're all pretty much regurgitating the SAME, tired rhetoric. Yeah GREAT original take.... idiots. One comment I particularly loved was in reference to the notion that they should have "stayed in Winnipeg". Really? Well, you had financial problems and you relocated in 1996. However, you did end up getting an NHL franchise back in 2011 (Atlanta) and guess what? A mere 13 years later the "second" Winnipeg franchise again is in BIG trouble financially. Shocker. The reason? There is just little to no corporate money in Winnipeg, MB... period. The only reason for the downfall of the Coyotes in AZ was crap-ass ownership. It had nothing to do with "hockey" in the desert. And, BTW, I hate to bring this up to Winnipeg fans, but all your ownership group, which is very strong and very hockey savvy, needs to succeed is a big market with TONS of corporate money. So tell us, what major U.S. market happens to be looking for a motivated ownership group with money, AND who has their act together, to bring a team in? Yep, Phoenix, AZ! Hey... guess what Winnipeg.... WE'RE GONNA GET YOUR TEAM A SECOND TIME! So thank you in advance, Winnipeg Manitoba. We'll get it right this time.😘💋
