Willie Daunic does a local radio show for ESPN in Nashville and he is absolutely the best. Great mixture of comedy and logic, with a play-by-play announcer's voice. Also I was at this game and didn't realize how silky Forsberg's mitts were on the goal. Even if it were a Detroit player scoring that game-winner I'd still tip my hat

The secondary, Mason, really annoys me when the opponent scores. Practically every time he tries to make an excuse why the goalie missed it.. must've hit a stick, glanced a finger, etc.. just accept he missed it

Willie has grown on me big time. It was tough following Terry crisp and Pete Weber, but him and CM gotta be one of the best duos out there

I was at the game. As a Wings fan, hats off to you Preds fans. What an atmosphere! Parking and traffic were easy too. Just an awesome experience, minus the outcome.

Good game Detroit, it was chippy but I really enjoyed being at the game even though it was a defensive/goalie battle. I think it's good fun to watch a 1-0 final score if they are going back and forth like this one

@@kollabrock That right to the face was more like a shove. Seider is not a fighter and it's likely that Forsberg did something to provoke it. We and refs often miss much of what leads to a fight and that is why fighting usually just elicits a penalty and not game misconduct. The fact that no other Pred retaliated tells me it was clean.

Wings need to work on controlling the puck in the offensive zone. Too many cross-ice passes, and not enough shots on the goal.

the irony in this statement is actually very true. wings fan here, i don’t think they’ve played a better game and ended up losing this season. still extremely optimistic about our playoff chances tho.

Great game, the NHL goalies are tough to beat, usually a broken play or a perfect shot needed to score, both goalies played great.

Seider beat the piss out of forsberg

Tough, physical, aggressive, resilient, relentless, opportunistic, irritating, indomitable. The Predators are gonna be a tough out in the playoffs.

I thought that goal came from lack of energy defensively in that moment. Wings were getting attacked over and over. They were letting the predators give it to them.

Back to back shutout wins for the Preds is crazy and ngl even though this was 0-0 the entire way through it was still very entertaining

Imagine this as a cup final this felt like it!

Great game today. Wings gave it their best, but the Preds are looking really good. Kudos to the victors.

У Нэшвилла достаточно сильных и опытных игроков - О'Райли, Макдона, Нюквист. Под плей-офф они еще Бовилье и Зукера выменяли. Ну и в плей-офф фактор голкипера становится особенно важным. У Нэшвилла не только Сарос великолепен (ночью наглядно показал свой класс), но сменщик - Ланкиннен - достаточно хорош. Так что с Нэшвиллом никому в плей-офф просто не будет. "Хищники" могут как в первом раунде вылететь, так и до финала Востока вполне прогрызть себе дорогу могут.

I can’t stand Rasmussen. He was the reason Nashville scored. This guy has poor eye coordination. They need to trade him next year..

Детройт и так в этом сезоне прыгнул выше крыши своей в сравнении тех лет, где сидели на дне. Так-что можно считать, этот сезон для них сложился удачно.

I was there. It was ridiculous, neither team was scoring. That 1 point was just pure luck. Glad to see Redwings scored 2 shiners, though. Go Redwings!! Trashville may be on a winning streak but it will take a long time for me to respect them as a team because they have not had decades of earning it. Redwings are part of the original 6. And their stupid blackout tickets. Idk if they still do that butthurt stuff but I am in KY and traveled as a Redwings fan. Just because I am next door does not mean I like Trashville.

@OFDProductions I know you're probably just trolling, but I was at the game and even though it wasn't goal heavy, it was very competitive between the two teams. Even if Detroit scored the goal at the end, I'd have been happy to have watched some top quality hockey. You might need to watch more goalie/defense highlights to appreciate how the game went

If someone had taught Seider how to throw a punch from the HIP, transferring your weight into the fist, Forsberg would not have been on the ice for that GWG.
