Needed four replays to see the puck on Bratts goal. What a rocket.
Despite being someone who despises the Devils for many reasons, as a hockey fan it’s hard not to be excited for their young core of talent. They are entertaining to watch and play an exciting brand of hockey. Jack Hughes is already elite. - begrudgingly, a Rags fan

They are not going anywhere. rangers will have a successful trade deadline and will jump ahead of them. lots of hockey to be played
Hughes has great anticipation, even at the pro level, some guys have great senses of where the puck might go, they find loose pucks and rebounds
Im not even a Devils fan and i got hyped looking at the game🔥🔥
I'm pleasantly surprised that the Devils came from behind to win this game. In the first two periods, it seemed like none of the Devils' opportunities would ever be good enough to beat the Rangers' goalie (besides Hughes' first goal). Some of the fans were slow to react when Jesper rocketed that puck into the top of the net. It was also kind of crazy how Damon Severson went from almost scoring on his own goal in the third period to scoring the game-winning goal in overtime.
Jack Hughes is the best player on the ice. Superstar players in the making 🎉
That assist by Lafrenierre was sick, truly a generational talent

When we drafted Hughes, my boss at the time, was a big Rags fan...he said "you can take that weakling! We'll take Kakko. He's stronger and better" I will admit, Hughes first season, I was a little disappointed. But then I remembered myself at 18....I could eat a whole pizza, and not gain an ounce. Same was probably true with Hughes. So I said to all my friends, give him some time. He'll gain some weight, some experience, and find his path. Now look at him...

Great come from behind win! The Devils do a great job of scoring 2 goals to tie the game and force an overtime! And Severson wins it for NJ in OT!
I was there as a ranger fan great environment all around. GG to the devils. Great game overall.

Being from NJ I prefer the Devils, but I also cheer for the Rangers. The Rangers also look decent this year and I really hope we can see these two go at it in playoffs!

Devils definitely have Shesterkin dialed in now. As long as they have Vanecek in net, they play with everything they've got. Blackwood has to go. Good to see Severson playing up to his capability.

I used to hate Bill Spaulding coming from listening to Steve Cangialosi all of these years. I must say, I have grown to really like Bill. This game really exemplified how good of a play by play announcer he is.

I think it’s taken bill some time to perfect his style as a hockey broadcaster. He’ll continue to get better as well. I wonder if he’ll do another Olympic Games…

Devils were up 3 to 1 last game and we lost so payback
Devils are having a hell of a year. First time since 2012 they’ll make the playoffs assuming they don’t have an epic fallout. Can’t wait to go to the game against the Penguins!

ah yes, cuz Laf, who just got the puck stripped going the other direction was definitely getting back to stop that 2-1. It was an accidental collision with the back checker that didn't affect possession. No NHL ref is ever calling that penalty in regulation let alone OT.

NOT happy about this loss at all. The Rangers had one power play and penalty kill in the 3rd, and they blew it completely. In addition, Lafreniere made one of the most stupidest attempts of a pass I've seen in a good bit in OT. VERY angry right now. Rangers better take the next few days off for the greater good when they face off against Minnesota next Tuesday.

No big deal with this game. Two good teams going at it. NY Karens the better team but they decided to take their foot off the gas. Well, you learned a lesson didn't ya. NY Karens will eventually pass the Devils in the standings.
