as a leafs fan i rlly doubt they did much to their morale, Vegas is missing 2 of their most impactful players rn. Keegan was playing on the 2nd like that’s how yk they were in shambles before it started😭 Their morale is prob the same that’s like leafs tossing reavo with Jt cause nylanders hurt you’d assume a loss before it starts.

Man I'm a Panthers fan and if we don't make it to the Finals, I really hope the Leafs do. Matthews, the squad, and Canada deserve a cup sooner than later.

Not gonna lie, they got me at 6x3, I thought they'd find a way to tie this game, but for a change, Keefe did a great job calling that timeout, and the game became more stable. Great game overall on all fronts though, keep it going boys!

I think every leaf fan felt that lol. But the leafs only bent and didn't break. Outside of those first 10 minutes of the 3rd, the leafs were pretty much in control all night.

@@chrisg1556the first half of the first period was pretty even. Lucky not to be down one on that crazy bounce early on.

Looked like the Leafs were gonna get steamrolled after the first 6-7 minutes of the game, but that was an impressive response. Especially on the second of back-to-back nights.

Not a huge fan of Keefe but credit where credit is due. Didn't put Rielly straight back on the top pair, kept Brodie on his strong side, and has stuck with Domi at 2C to reward his good play of late. Took him about 4 years but maybe he's finally learning he doesn't have to just hope his stars carry the team every night. Tougher tests ahead though, let's see if he sticks to it when things get rough

Unpopular opinion I say send Reilly down. Free up some cap space and get Markstrom from the flames. If he gets picked up on waivers honestly good, gets him off your payroll. Also the chances of anyone picking up his contract is super unlikely anyway since it’s wayyy too rich.

I don't know what the analytics guys would say but the eye test tells me Domi has been playing terribly lately. Last game he had two turnovers in two shifts trying to make fancy dekes in his own zone, both leading to high danger chances. I thought for sure he was going to get benched. If there is a method to Keefe's madness with that guy, it's lost on me.

Sheldon Keefe, if you are reading this, keep those forward lines the same.

Leafs have been without their #1 goalie for months, Leafs top defenceman just missed 5 games. Even when Matthews was out they won 7-0 against the penguins. Good teams overcome injuries with depth

FYI: After AUSTON MATTHEWS kicked off the season with back to back hat tricks, he then had a span of 7 games with just 1 goal. And soon after he had another span of 9 GAMES with just 1 goal!! That is pretty unbelievable considering his Goal Per Game pace so far. What I also realized was that if you were to remove those two slumps from his season at this time, it would give him exactly *50 GOALS in 39 GAMES* !! 😮 Weird coincidence.

Not really impressed with the Knights play by play guys. Toronto clearly was out skating the Knights most of the game. On the last goal for Toronto, it was clearly a Mathew tip in.
