Orlov played liked the 4th forward. The Hurricanes would be scary in the playoffs.

Orlov has come alive since being reunited with Kuznetsov. He's been very noticeable the last few games.

The shift leading to the second Orlov goal looked like a Canes power play. The Sens looked exhausted and were all standing upright and just gliding around. That was a clinical sequence by the Canes.

kuz and guentzal added scoring to an already solid team this is what they hoped for when they got orlov....this team could win the presidents trophy...5 points out right now

The sens just reloaded if they rebuilded they would not have given long term deals. Paying 3 to 6 guys when the team still isnt good enough to win 2 rounds in the playoffs is just wasteful for a rebuild.

@@stingingmetal9648 Having a few good players you will win sometimes but the problem is paying out big contracts that are not 1 year contracts. 1 year contracts can be flipped at the deadline for a profit like Duclair. The problem for fans is to do a full rebuild the GM will have to trade away players who are actually good because paying them will not help the team win in the playoffs or rebuild. It is also far better for teams to lose meaningless games but the average fan of all NHL teams wants to win those games.

Congrats to the Canes for blowing the Sens away. For a home game the Sens should be ashamed to put on a display as lacklustre & tired looking as that tonight.

Каролина при Бриндаморе играла в давление, действуя в штрафной соперника довольно прямолинейно - набросы и удары по воротам при первой возможности, с последующим добиванием. Получив Кузнецова, Генцела, Орлова "ураганы" сильно добавили в креативности и качестве исполнителей в чужой зоне. Это сразу ощутимо проявилось в возросшей результативности, если не брать "сухой" мачт с Рейнджерс, то в последних 5 играх Каролина спокойно забивает по 4-5 шайб, сохранив прежнюю надежность в обороне. А когда пойдет игра, то могут накидать и 7 шайб, как Калгари и Оттаве. Каролина к плей-офф подходит в качестве скрытого фаворита.
