I was born in 72 so I’ve been fortunate enough to witness the Habs win some cups. The ones I remember best are 86 and 93 of course. This is the best brand of hockey they’ve played since the 93 playoffs by far, every line is contributing. Enjoy it my friend and let’s hope they win 4 more games!

We tried to win it back in 2011 but failed. Habs... it's up to you now to bring Lord Stanley back where it belongs.

Back in ‘17 my dad fulfilled a longtime dream to see our beloved Kings face the Habs in Montreal. He was so impressed by not only the class and hospitality of the Hab fans but also the respect shown for “The Star Spangled Banner” and the gusto and passion displayed for “O Canada.” Even through you broke our hearts in ‘93 we are definitely rooting for Les Canadiens. I'm so happy for Montreal tonight and I'm a Blues fan.

As a life long Habs fan, I vividly remember 86 and 93, and if I'm honest, I took it for granted that Mtl. would always be in the mix and I never imagined how wrong I could be. The serendipity of success in these playoffs is unprecedented. I had no expectations and my highest hope was for the Habs to play well enough to be competitive and not get embarrassed. Win or lose, I cannot be disappointed, because this team to man, has played hard every minute, and Carey Price has a well deserved chance to win a Cup. I'm humbled and very appreciative of the well wishes and support I'm seeing from fans of other teams. That, more than anything else, tells me how special these playoffs are.

Fun fact for Knights fans: Toronto took Montréal to 7.

What happened to Tavares really shaked me, and they didn't give up, winning the next 3games. I had hated the Leafs since Komisarek injured like 4Habs on his first game against his old team 😂

Hard work usually triumphs over talent when hard work wants it bad enough. Lots of chemistry and grit on this team. They'll definitely have a fighting chance against either TB or the Isles. I'm thinking the Isles win tonight.

@@peterlatoch163 That is true... 14 cups won before 1967 (the year more teams were added). But 10 won afterwards! So. The Red Wings have 11 cups and the Maple Leafs have 13. The Leafs won all of their cups before 1967 (and during 1967) so too bad for them. The Red Wings won 4 times after 1967. So if we put two and two together, we can see that the Montreal Canadians won more cups after 1967 than any other team and won more cups before 1967 than any other team. So yeah. A shitload of cups. Even if we removed everything that happened before 1967, Montreal would still be the franchise with the most stanley cup wins to this day.

As a Leafs fan, it was a pretty devastating series loss to Montreal and I was pretty salty after. This Montreal team has won me over though and I've put the rivalry aside. Caufield is a talented kid. They're showing how to play playoff hockey. Impressive stuff. Montreal vs. Tampa would be so gross but Islanders are a solid team as well. Can't believe I'm saying this but Go Montreal! Get that Cup

Then the Stars feasted on the easy prey, reminding them of another hot goaltender 2021: Carey Price steals the show. Defensive game leaving Vegas players frustrated and angry with themselves. Suffers another series clinching OT dagger.

@@russellupsumgrub9633 not caufield, I'm the canadiens zone, when vegas tried to send it to the habs zone, it hit a vegas player on the knee. he was offside but play continued and than the stretch pass was made to caufield..I am happy rhatbwas a missed call, I get to celebrate my team in the finals. was just pointing out , that we for once had a brake.

@@lAmCanad1an we got a brake, It not a complaint i made, by far our luck came in our favour at the right time. even the icing call, that lead to our victory was a bad call. but the refs thought they were helping vegas, but needed up helping us win at the end!

I have been waiting for this moment for a long, long time. What an unbelievable feeling of pure joy and euphoria.

Man.. I feel like a little boy again watching the 1993 Habs make it to the finals. Even back then all anyone could talk about is how this team felt special this year and that's the same feeling now. We're destine to be here with this group of players. GO HABS GO!!!

Watching this again now because that was my favourite moment ever as a habs fan

Suzuki, Romanov, Primeau, Caufiel, Lehkinen, Vejdemo. This young blood kids brought up energy, desire and kids dream back to the team. What a joy to watch this guys battle back to back with older guys. In another pare I root for islanders, because they deserve it. IMO Canadiens vs Islanders will be a great final! From Russia with Love ;) Congrats Montreal

That Lehky goal will go down in the history books for all Habs fans. We haven't felt lifted like that in forever. And on Quebec's national holiday after a year and a half of brutal Covid restrictions. We didn't win the Cup. And my heart goes out to Webs and Pricey... but they made us feel something we hadn't felt in a really really long time.
