This was an incredible series. So hard-fought, could have gone either way, and honestly no hard feelings between the two teams or even fans it seems. Just a great, hard-fought, and mostly clean series. Amazing to watch.

@@jacobscott9732 yeah they got better every game and made us fight for it. Definitely underestimated them because for years, they were the laughing stock. But, they’ve grown. They’ve grown a lot. From being one of if not the worst team in the NHL only a few years ago, to now being a team with good depth, scoring ability, defense, goaltending, and an incredible coach. They smothered us all series, sometimes a little too much, but got the job done. Go hoist that cup isles.

This was a great game; slick goals, hard hitting, crowd was rocking, and of course the final score.

It was as if they channeled the players whose numbers are on banners. Fort Neverlose just refuses to let the Isles leave. Barry Trotz is determined to will this team on a la another bespectacled Isles coach. At least two more games at The Old Barn in Uniondale.

2 very different styles. Tampa is a fantastic team. But so was Pittsburgh in 1993 when David Volek showed up in OT.

Love on the 4th goal the guy down behind the net gets up and shoves the defenseman like, "get off me I gotta go celebrate!"

2:52 - This play is out of an NHL game or street puck. What a slick chip from Josh Bailey to Brock Nelson. Then again at 3:40, Josh Bailey loading up Anthony Beauvillier. Then again at 4:30 forcing that turnover into another goal for Brock Nelson. Josh Bailey was a monster play-maker this game. That's what hockey is all about baby. Congrats Islanders!

I've been trying to upload the NY Saints of the MJHA logo without success. Just google New York Saints Logo and it will come up. They are now the Ramapo Saints.

Wow Isles EAST champs. Everyone raved about b's finish and their tdl acquisitions and how they turned around with hall after that. And pens came in hot with a red hot carter. Isles limped into playoffs reeling with just four wins in last 12 and kp only scoring twice in 17 games and falling to fourth in competitive east. Even I had a bad vibe coming into this playoff but said the break and re-set is just what Isles needed to get into playoff mode after hitting usual tdl wall once again. It just goes to show you playoffs are a different animal and to never bet against barry trotz in playoffs. caps, flyers, b's, and pens (twice) have found that out the last three playoffs.
