I don't think anyone played as hard as the Preds did against us. Sure some of the other series have their tough moments, but this series legit has been the tightest checking, no free ice, grind it out series that's been played in years. The shot totals for the series were low for a reason. Shot blocks through the roof and tight checks everywhere. The Preds were SUPER annooying to play against and that's to their credit. If we can bring the same level of defence against Edm, with a bit more offence, we'll have a good shot of replaying the season series outcomes. To be fair, Edm is firing on all cylinders - Hyman is an absolute beast wildcard aside from McD and Drais. Should be a good round 2 for hockey fans!

If they want to beat the Oilers and McJesus and Drisitle in round 2 they need to have more than 20 shots per game average in round 1 and Pettersson needs to wake up. My own attitude of being a fair-weather fan now probably amplifies this feeling. But it feels great to have a Canucks team where losing 2 goalies to injury, or letting an opponent claw back a game from 3-1, doesn't make me think "oh no", but instead now makes me think "oh boy, exciting".

This was such a big relief. Nashville is greedy af on their Defense. They really clogged up the shooting lanes and threw their bodies in front of the puck so many times. As a Canucks fan, it was frustrating not seeing so many shots even getting through. As for this game itself, what a hard fought win! Some good take away from this game was seeing Petey looking like he's tryin to get more into it, he didn't look like such a zombie in this game. Garland. The dude had some great hustle and put great pressure on the Preds. Silov looked amazingingly poised like a veteran in this game. Edmonton is going to be a different kind of beast, and I'm stoked for the coming series! Big props to Nashville, they definitely didn't make it easy, and almost every game could've gone either way. Round 2 Oilers and Nucks? Yaaaaa baby!! This will be great. Nashville and the Smashville fans are good folk. They got a good thing going down there and they played with a lot of heart and guts.

We missed an empty net and gave up 2 goals in like 3 minutes. This performance wasn’t any more acceptable. Hoping preds can make it to round 2 some time in the next 20 years 😭

They may have had some Kryptonite, but they had the wrong Superhero, They brought Kryptonite to try and weaken Spiderman. That goalie came in game 3, from out of Middle Earth, from his cave overlooking the Morgul Vale he came, and... The net is Silovs' lair, and in his web, all pucks he will snare.
