Talking about defensive forwards you should try to get my personal way too underrated pick, Anthony Cirelli!

Pay close attention to Ovechkin's goal totals it would be cool if you intervene in the game where he breaks the goal record so we can see the cutscene

Would love to see an addition to your franchise series where after the tenth season you do one more episode where you sim for like 5 or 10 seasons and see how the AI GM handles your team as it is then usually the best team in the league. This would give some meaning to the last drafts as well when you could actually continue to draft for the future and see the players evolve during the sim🙏🏻

so let’s not lose these files this time, was really digging that last franchise series!

My sims in franchise are so accurate for some reason. Mike Matheson scored 137 points in my third year on the Habs and i was on the controlling the Blue Jackets.

Huge bummer on the last one, you should have the format be free agency at the start and then video ends w the playoffs

I think one idea would be to have Sandin on the second powerplay since you can’t have him on a higher defensive pairing. It could help his development possibly even more. Being only 23 years old he could be one of the building blocks potentially or a better trade piece.

Pulley is injured, which is why he hasn’t looked for a team yet, I’m hoping Kane does a 35+ min with leafs with bonus, which will affect signing Nylander but by then Bertuzzi & Domi along with Kane will be off the books expect for whatever bonus he earns

Great start of a franchise. I suppose this team extremely needs a natural born 5 star shooter. Like in 3-4 seasons Ovi will finally calls a quit, so TacTix should find 99 shot accuracy player like Lotz/Ulf/Samoskovich to replace a legend. Hopefully, that GM’s moves can bring lots of Stanlies to Washington DC

You gotta make sure to put ovi on the left wing on the pp. there is just no way he should only have 10 ppg-I think it’s because you had him at the LD position

I actually have been doing a playthrough as Washington. Ovi played until he was 42-43 and we came close to getting to the cup, but just never made it. We are still kind of in the same position now, but I have an elite defense and two elite prospect goalies with a rookie who won the Vezina. My biggest complaints are I cannot develop a defenseman to save my life. So many elite or top 4 drafts that just stop developing at 78-81 overall. So I just have to trade for elite D, the problem with this is that only gives me 3-4 years of an elite D man before they regress due to age. Anyhow hopefully you can do what I did not for Ovi!
