Thanks, Franchise Mode and the Soundtrack is the only reason I buy NHL games now

do you tweak anything for goalie be a pro? i find i always have bad numbers as a goalie and 10 minutes x 3 periods is long to keep focus as well. thanks for the video!

I do tweak goalie sliders. But it's been a long time since I have played as a goalie. Maybe in the near future, I could post some sliders.

Question on franchise mode. It won't let me change the strategies. My first line is set to behind the net and I have snipers that can't work with it. I click triangle that says edit strategies but it's locked Grey. Doesn't let me change it?

Only adjustment I’d make is hitting. Played a game using these. Every statistic was quite realistic but hours were 64 and 52 lol

do you have goalie sliders?

How do you play with the game being fast because I feel like it is fast and I keep making bad passes and can’t win faceoffs and can score or defend and I mainly play offline

The number one things I would suggest, would be to go into your settings. And gameplay sliders. In the general sliders, turn game speed down to either 1 or 0. Will also help you avoid injuries. Next, go into the Checking sliders, and turn aggressiveness down by 4 or 5. You will have a split second longer to make smarter plays and passes. 🙂

Do you play on all-star for your be a pro, or superstar?

When I begin Be a Pro, I begin on All Star because your overall is so low, it becomes difficult to really accomplish much of anything. But once you hit like, 80 overall-ish, I up it to Superstar.

I know I already commented on this video, but I really wish you would make a video explaining the difference between the sliders going up and down not your opinion because not everybody wants to play like you, but because you just passed over a lot of things like for example general, the speed of which player recovers from being tired, is that higher or lower you never explained another one this will adjust the effect of being tired on players performance do you put that higher or lower you just pass by I don’t know if it’s higher or lower that’s what your opinion was you need to make a video where you can explain the difference in the sliders Because some sliders, , you have to put higher some you have to put lower and we don’t know the difference as new players or new to the game so we would really appreciate it. I’m sure a lot of people would if you could explain the difference in the sliders not your opinion.

Damn, the one thing I came to your channel 4 was the penalties and you passed over it because I’ve put the penalties down on human and we constantly getting penalties every 23 minutes I don’t get it

Oh, haha. I didn't adjust the penalty sliders until well after I started playing my Be a Pro or Franchise mode. But they did get excessive, after I had played a bunch of games in Franchise Mode. So I dropped the Human AND CPU penalties by 5. I wasn't even taking very many penalties. but every one else was. Making the games take forever. By dropping each by 5, it really sped the games up.

honestly even with 20 aggression the whole team rushes me

Hmm. That's strange. I found if I even turn it down a little bit. They tend to leave you alone quite a bit more. But that slider was definitely more of a factor in NHL 23

How do you win Faceoffs? Please help 🙏🙏🙏

When you get to the faceoff dot, pull your right stick to the right or left, to lower yourself into the faceoff position. As soon as you see the referees arm begin to motion to drop the puck. Move the right stick forward, and pull back toward your defenders. If timed right, you will pull the puck backwards, and win the faceoff. After a while, you'll start to master the timing, and begin winning a lot of faceoffs. 🙂🙃

What about shooting? How do I control shooting? I’ve noticed when I want to shoot it’s not shooting the puck

Once you hit a certain overall, it is almost impossible to make the game difficult. Unless you hold back. Which seems counter productive. Haha. 🙂🙃

Dmac. Are you using skill stick or total control scheme? I can't decide which one is better, especially with .manual line changes. Lots more buttons going on now..

@@nickdonofrio9869 I tried the new control scheme for a short time, but swapped back to Skill Stick.

LOLOL The sliders do NOTHING. I've set them purposely ridiculous, so it should be obvious. To test. LOLOLOL They change NOTHING. LOLOL Doing goalie. The CPU set completely to zero and these guys do these moves like you are playing on an all star level. EVERY year these games come out. You can find a million posts of people stating the same thing. Like I said, I've experimented with ridiculous settings that if they had any effect. It would be painfully obvious. LOLOL I set goalie reaction to zero for CPU and they are making insane no spine saves. LOL No deflections......Its a broken EA feature that does nothing
