Got the game for Xmas, playing only on semi-pro (first nhl game since I was a kid in the early 90s) and I’m good at GETTING shots on goal but not actually getting them in. 70 shots 1 goal game is why I’m here! Thanks even though this is a year old

Thanks. It is a little harder to do on NHL 22 than NHL 21. In previous games one could go to instant replay and see exactly where the control analog sticks were at the time of the shot. It was very helpful for figuring out timing on skill stick moves for offense.

What's the major difference between xbox and ps cause on my game it has me use the buttons not the thumbsticks but I'm also a noob

There is skill stick and hybrid plus an easy one. The most difficult to use is skill stick, but it can be rewarding in certain situations as one has more options than the hybrid controls.

How do you make the grid in the goal show up in games

I think my on ice trainer was on adaptive and my shot aim was on manual. I usually start with the fault settings on the games so the trainer grid is naturally on when attempting shots in practice or games.

@@repentedheart it was much simpler back then a button b button control pad and the start and select buttons. Now there are tons of special moves. The downside is for the casual player it takes too long to learn which makes the old school controls a better choice in that case.

How do u aim in online

The same way. If training mode is off one will not see where the aim is, but the mechanics are the same. Thanks.
