This technique has worked a couple times for me in the past season, I highly recommend it for free kick takers when just outside the box. Great video keep it up!

This is by far the best breakdown I've ever seen on free-kicks. Extremely technical and detailed. I used to play in the Sheffield United and Hull City academies. I took corners but my free-kicks were always inconsistent to I bottled them and let someone else take them. I could have done with this breakdown back then!

For me the best fk technique is that of giovinco or Messi, you have a very similar technique to them (which means it really good), I hope to go pro one day and people like u are quite inspiring 👍

Good tutorial dude. The good thing is that you explain and give valid arguments on the way you place your body, running up and hitting the ball works for you. Plus for that. Cheers mate. P.S. Every person has it's own biomechanics, so when you trying to replicate remember the individuality training principle (amongst others). Same for body training prescription. Cheers.

Brilliant Advice!

I personally since I’m messi’s height, I can kick free kicks like him. To the point I don’t even have to think about kicking like him. It’s crazy the amount of power generated by his free kicks using his technique. The Liverpool free kick is a great example on how to learn how to do it since there are MANY videos from all angles on that kick.

Also, I notice your keep your eyes on the ball as you strike. It happened to me and I see a lot of people trying to peek and see where the ball goes as they strike it. Similar to golf and I keep my head down and actually flies better. Thank you for this video.
