I understand that but heat doesn't deserve it because its the Best nfs since most wanted (old) and underground 2. It makes so much right. That doesn't change my view on EA but the game is worth it to call it a need for speed game it makes a hell of fun to play.

i was very dissapointed because even forza looks better.

The 488 GTB in NFS is really great. While in FH4 the 488 GTB doesn't sound like a stock 488, but it sounds like a 488 GTB with a novetec exhaust, and it revs higher for some reason. Out of all the Forza games, the only time a 488 sounded good in Forza was in Forza Motorsport 6.

Your right, considering anytime you do an engine swap, its pretty much the same engine in every car. Its why i prefer the NFS version now. Tons of options to take from, from a flat 4 to a flat 12, to a v4, v6, v8 or v12, so many options.

When you engine swap you also change the aspiration of the engine. So it will sound like a formula race care everytime. So you'll have to saaccrifice some speed for that perfect engine sound. But Forza doesnt have the option to alter the sound of your exhaust, aspirationm or turbo sounds.

Forza is on the realistic side of arcade racers while nfs heat isn't, they're 2 completely different games and I highly recommend both but if i was to choose I'd choose heat

Looking forward to giving NFS a blast when i can, it looks insanely good, especially graphics and mod wise. Its nice to see the handling elements can be made more realistic via live tuning also. Cant wait to spend hours driving and customizing 💯👑

Heat sounds like real deal, you can actually tell that engine is turbocharged since the sound is much more muted, where in Forza they took 458s sound and that's it, 488 does NOT have such high pitched sounds like 458 and how it's in forza! HEAT WINS

heat wins .. until you play it. its shockingly bad ... no drag racing,drifting is a joke, story is weak. the police chases are decent and customisation is good but that doesnt make up for how BAD the drifting is. and a off road car wouldnt off road. the game is a 4/10. its disappointing.

​@@plamerj1234 you sure you played it? I mean, I play it all the time, and it's fantastic. FH4 got boring quickly, nothing to do, since it's another reskin of FH2 /FH3. Sorry dude, but Forza has some work to do to be good again. Only good point in forza is handling, but good handling doesn't make up for game being shit. has hundreds of cars, but who cars when you can't do fuck all with them visually, even mechanically, yes tuning system is cool, but engine swaps are usually limited to 2-3 options, where it's nearly always 1.6l turbo swap, LS 6.2 Swap or eventually 3.2 I6 BMW Swap. visual upgrades (if even available) are outdated, and extremely limited, wheels are outdate, looking like from 2005 and I found myself using 5 wheels for all cars pretty much. Sounds of the cars leave a lot to desire too. And map, well, it's not boring, but it's just straights and fast corners most of the time. Even choice of forced induction is very limited, turbo engines can't be converted to Supercharged for example, or convert it from single to dual, or dual to single turbo. And story is mint imo. better then anything forza did since 2012

@@slightlyinsaneraf so bad handling and lack of actual game play makes a game good as long as it sounds good and has a lot of customisation? i agree with forza h4 got stagnant fast. but handling on a car game is quite a big thing to me. it seems to me there is lots missing/rushed in nfs. the drifting is so bad, no drag racing,controller layout limited, they even put drag tyres into the game with no drag races. it makes it quite clear to me its rushed and half arsed or they are purposely keeping content back to say look we are working on it when it should have been in from the start. the customisation 9/10 police chases 9/10 and even the normal drive round handling are acceptable. but drifting is SO bad and lack of drag racing/multiplayer punishes that heavily. to say its a fantastic game is not true. can it be worked on into a fantastic game yes.. but they need to rework drifting completely as its trash and add drag racing,controller layout adjustments,an actual multiplayer experience. these are things that should have been in a released game. they wonder why everyone is screaming for a underground 2... because when released it was a complete game.. not half arsed crap that things get held back on for more dlc later. e.a ..... yh everyone's account.

Just look at UG2s bodykits... pretty much every car has same bodykits, spoilers, exhausts all that shit. nowadays, if you would release something like this, but in nicer package it would be quickly reviewed as outdated, world feels dead (because it is, what a surprise), modifications are copy and paste, vinyl editor is crap and so on... 15 years ago, it didn't took a lot to please customers. Story is so strongly inspired by MWs... All I see is you really want drifting fixed, and drag racing. Didn't know that in open world game you need Drag events to do drag racing. It's literally straight line race. Drifting, yeah, it's weird and hard to master, but people wanted change from break to drift... they got a change. Handling overall is pretty good, needs polishing, but overall, cars feel good to drive, especially grip builds. FH4 literally only has good handling and technical customisation. Map is boring. Visual modification pretty much not existing, cuz few bodykits can't be called good visual customisation. Races are boring. Forza is a complete game, only because it's being reskined every two year and mixed with Motorsport. Also, Forza is a Simcade, not Arcade like NFS

The 488 is actually brilliant in FH4, proper sound!, no artificial fading in higher revs, high res. textures and it handles just like I think a Ferrari would behave on a real road. NFS wouldn't stand a chance at all against FH if all cars were at least kinda as good as the 488 or R8. But since PG put quantity over quality FH4 is just a nice looking shitpile of a game..

Como jugador frecuente de forza ya llega un punto en el que las misiones se te hacen repetitivas y se extraña bastante la historia. Pero en cuanto a gráficos, cantidad de autos etc es lejos el mejor que cualquier juego de autos (mi opinión )

And not have copy & pasted sounds to random cars. My favourite cars like Subaru's have a specific rumble that I like, not a..... wet cloth choved into a dryer thats going at 3000 revs a minute. We live in 2019 for gods sake, why cant we just have more realistic sounds!?

FH4 sounds like it has N-Largo exhaust. Both are really solid tho. This happens to be one of the very few cars that sound great in FH4. NFS heat sound is closer to stock which is also cool.

The funny thing is, engine swaps effect how the car sounds in Need for Speed: Heat. Probably should wait till your fully repped out (if you arent) then make a side by side comparison. My Ferrari fully upgraded sounds nothing like what you have here.

Yeah but that's not comparing a stock Ferrari engine then. If you swap your TT V8 for a NA V12, it'll be pointless comparing the two.

NFS has better sound, sometimes better shadows and customization. Forza has almost double the cars, better graphics and physics, and better tuning for your car in general. I would rather play forza honestly. I don’t fall for that ‘sense of speed’ bs everyone keeps saying because all they change is the shaky camera. If you change the camera in forza you will feel the same.

488gtb looks like a Flamer HotRod with these exhaust. Body is very similar as in Horizon 4 but the vehicle shadow is better in Horizon 4 when you drive a car. landscape is better moduled in NFS and also cars in the traffic looks better and detailed, also the weather looks more realistic - wind on trees. Anyway I play Horizon 4 :D

For example I disliked because the forza Ferrari is Stock in the need for speed Heat Ferrari had a Bodykit... bad to compare also nfs drifting/handbrake is so unrealistic... and the game is to gray / not many good places where shown in this video... the cuts are not good they are standard at best .. just low Q content Forza > NFS it is like that for years and it will keep that way
