When I heard the words "administering CPR for the past 9 minutes," my heart dropped. Thankfully, Hamlin was able to recover and hopefully will be back on the field.

I remember watching the Bengals vs. Bills game live and just being silent when Hamlin went down and the ENTIRE STADIUM was so eerily quiet. It was beyond insane. 100% glad he made it out.

I remember I was in my room I walked out to watch the game and the first thing I saw was the hit. That also was the last thing I saw in that game and the last thing most the country saw from that game

That kick return still gives me chills🥶🥶

I remember watching the Bills and Bengals game and seeing Hamlin go down live. I was watching it with my dad and we both didn't really have words. We just watched in silence scared for him. Im so glad he was able to recover.

The Damar Hamlin situation almost ended Hamlin’s life, but it sure ended the Buffalo Bills 2022 season.

This is so sad Damar Hamlin was dead on the field and came back to life it’s the greatest comeback story in all of sports.

When they did the kickoff return for a touchdown I was at that game and they actually did 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns

I watched the Bengal Bills Monday night game and was feeling horrible seeing what was what everybody thought was a routine tackle and was an absolutely petrifying situation seeing everybody’s reaction jolted me for the next few days after the fact

What is the saddest moment in NFL history? And did I forget any?

Around 0:40 I get chills when he says “THIS IS STORYBOOK!!”

There's a legit (and a very good) reason as to why Hamlin's fall to the ground was cut out of the video. I was at my folks' house when I was watching that game. I swear the hit, like everyone else who saw it live. I remember it because soon after, Hamlin hit the ground in a manner I've never seen before. The moment I saw medical staff run like they were in the 100 yard dash onto the field, I knew something was wrong. When they said they had been performing CPR on him for nine minutes, I was really worried he wouldn't make it. I'm really glad he was able to recover from that scary incident. I'm hoping we never see that again. Ever.

As a bengals fan I now have some respect for the bills

I walked down stairs and I saw the replay and I was legit shocked😭😭😭😭

I was at the Bengals bills game. At first when the medical staff came out, i was thinking oh he's hurt, but he will be fine, just like when any other player gets hurt. But when I figured out what happened, I couldn't resist to just cry right there. The statium was so silent and I was so scared. But i'm glad Hamlin is ok just 11 months later.

The Damar Hamlin one was on a razor's edge. Could have gone a whole lot worse. Freak occurrence. Strongest contender for worst moment on a sporting field. The international football player for Denmark(?) was also bad but far fewer people in America know about that one, guessing.

Crazy how somebody can almost lose their life, make a miraculous comeback, and people will still find a wait to hate on him. Damar made sure to clarify that he thought his jackets was abstract, even pointing out how it showed he was "eternally" grateful to god. He profusely stated that he didn't mean to disrespect anyone.
