My all time favorite referee moment is when Ben Dreith said "That's a personal, on number 99 of the defense! As unfortunate as it was, it was the correct call. “As many coaches will repeatedly point out to you, a referee is no different that a lump of dirt on the field.” -my instructor when I became a certified referee
